Description:

A Blog about my Batman collection. Toys, bootlegs, rare items and action figures.

Contents:

Vintage Batman mask

This vintage mask (made in France in the early 80's) arrived some days ago. I just had to have it tough I already have one exactly like it but I used to wear it when I was a kid and pretended I was Batman:

This one is in mint condition and sealed in it's original packaging. Very, very rare... :-)

But as it's a zip bag so I took it out as the plastic could damage the mask after so many years of storage.

New poster "Joker's Back in Town!"

One of my favorite Batman covers will be released in the UK (probably in the US too...) as a poster on February 19th. I just had to have it so I've placed a pre-order...

This issue of Batman (#251) was published in 1973 and featured the classic Joker story "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge" by the legendary trio Dennis O'Neal (writer), Neal Adams (penciller) and Dick Giordano (ink).

Graphic novels x 4
It was a long time since I got some graphic novels/comic books and I felt like reading so I bought these (used) yesterday:

Maybe Batman needs a Robin...

Ok.. I'm on a break from collecting but I couldn't resist bidding on this vinyl/PVC Robin figure from Hamilton Gifts. I've got two Batman figures (different paint schemes) made by the same company so they are what you may call a perfect match...

Here's an already posted pic with the matching Batman figure in the right corner. Now all I need is the Joker figure from the same line...

Some non-Batman items from my collections...
Here's some items from my other collections.. I'm still on a break from collecting and I don't want the blog to be put on hold in the meantime. So here goes...

A Big Jim action figure/doll called Professor Obb. I only have three other Big Jim figures left as I sold a lot of stuff some years ago.

A Secret Agent set from my vintage toy collection.

A rare Yoda plastic mask from 1983. I sold 90% of my Star Wars collection in 2003.

I love old horror movies and the silent era. The Phantom of the Opera from 1925 is one of my favorites. This is the black and white version of the Lon Chaney Phantom action figure.

Four new figures arrived yesterday...

Scarecrow from The Alex Ross Justice League series 6.

Another great Alex Ross designed figure; Armored Batman.

Great sculpt on this one; JLA Series 2 Batman

Re-Activated Series 1 Batman

Floorfiller

I got a great gift today from my girlfriend - A Batman carpet (I think they're called floor mats in the US?)

Two new figures arrived from the US
These two figures arrived about 10 days ago but it wasn't until today that I had the time to go and get them from the post office. Here's two photos:

Super Friends! Batman - very nice retro design and bold colors. I really like the packaging design too.

Batgirl designed by Alex Ross. Great sculpt!

A Merry Bat-Christmas
Christmas is celebrated on the 24th here in Sweden and I got some great gifts... :-)

The DC Vault Museum-In-A-Book. Still unopened but I will probably have a peek tomorrow...

A Sketch pad and a set of drawing pencils. I made this little Batman sketch and gave it to my parents as a thank you.

10 Most Wanted Right Now...
Ten items I wanna get my hands on right now... (I don't own any of them).

A Dark Winters' Knight Snow Globe

Batman Fly 'em high parashootist (pictured to the left)

Batman Brave & The Bold Joker figure

Red Hood (unmasked) Joker figure

Secret Files Mr Freeze (Rogues Gallery)

Alfred figure, the first one produced

Ben Cooper Joker costume

Mego Batcave (the one pictured at the bottom)

Joker vinyl doll from Hamilton Gifts

Super Powers Joker action figure

Lewis Wilson print

Lewis Wilson, the first actor to ever portray Batman on film. This publicity shot of him was probably the first photo I ever saw of a "live" Batman. So I bought a photo print from a seller on Ebay. It's not an original but it will look good on my wall.

New Action Figures #2
I got two more figures yesterday... and do they look great. Very nice sculpts, colors and timeless looks for both Batman & Batgirl.

All Star Batman

Showcase Presents: Batgirl

New Action Figures #1
Today I got a whole box of action figures from the US. It felt like christmas day when I opened it and picked up these...

DC Armory Nightwing

Secret Files Hugo Strange - he's wearing the Bat suit just like he did in the great "Strange Apparitions" story from the 70s.

Infinite Crisis (series 2) Batman

Super Squad Batman - I really like this retro-like Batman design.

Posters x 3
