Christmas party games  : Telegram

You have each christmas party guest call out a letter of their choice until 12 are called out.
Now allow everyone 15 mins to write a telegram message each word beginning with one of the chosen
12 letters. The winner is the guest who come up with the best and most meaningful message.
Great christmas party games follow below

Pin the tail on the donkey

In this traditional game you get the blindfolded person to try and pin a tail on the donkey
which is a painting or photo of a donkey stuck on the wall.
It’s best if the painting is large and is stuck on a pinboard
You can make the tail from a piece of cardboard with a drawing pin at the end.
Start by turning the person round 3 times and then letting them go.
The winner is the person who comes nearest to the correct spot.

Here’s a way of getting your guests to know each other better by searching for their spiritual partners.
Before the birthday party starts you write down on pieces of paper, pairs of famous lovers corresponding to the number of people you are expecting.

Christmas Talent Contest!

If possible for this particular game is to avoid volunteers, as more often than not they can sing and do not embarrass easy. We want fun right, and if at someone else’s expense then so be it (in a nice way). It’s more fun to hear voices like that of a wailing banshee, or watching the footwork of those who believe they have feet like Micheal Flatly. Let everyone showcase their talent by singing or dancing. Contest winner tags should “Best Singer” “Best Dancer” “Worst vocalist” “Most Unique” “Most Funny” This game guarantees the air to fill with laughter.

Remember Christmas celebrations should cater for all age groups so organize for the young and old. Best Christmas party games are the ones people can join in with.

Pass the Bows another popular Christmas game

Have your guest’s team up for this game. This game includes all participants of each side to hold hands while passing bows along a line. Hands must not unlock at any time while passing bows.
Divide the group into teams of 6 to 10 people and have the team’s line up side by side, either sitting or standing next to each other. At one end of the line place a number of Christmas bows while at the other a bowl/bucket for bows to be placed. Now prompt each player to hold the right wrist of the person to their right. You can use a Christmas cracker bang to start the game – both teams must now pass bows down to one end and place them in the bucket or bowl.

Note: If a bow is dropped, it can only be retrieved while still joined to the wrist of a team member, and if the chain breaks all the bows currently being passed must move back to the beginning of the line. (Either the front – initial starting point or the bucket / bowl – the half way point.) Not to worry if you have no bows, I am sure you can find other as a substitute

More christmas party games

christmas-party-montage1

Guests at your Christmas party are given pen and paper and then asked to write down 12 categories
Animal, bird, country, town, girls name, boys name etc
The organiser then chooses one random letter and everybody has to write down one word under
each category for that letter, within a 5 muinute time limit

So for example, if the letter chosen was C then you have to fill categories
such as country with Checkoslovakia, boys name with  Clive etc.

Each player at the Christmas party then reads out his word. Each time a word is called out that is
not on others lists then that person gains 1 point and the winner of course, is the person with the most points.
If you have a guest list of people into music you could slant the whole thing towards
composers and  singer-song writers etc.

Firstly you split people into 2 teams.
Next write down questions on little yellow sticker notes which you cover with a 2nd stick it with a question value on it in pounds.
Next you will have previously prepared questions on a handful of subjects that you would like to ask questions on.
The game starts and winning answers gains that number of pounds.
The willing team can be presented with little gifts and something less to the losers. The idea is that everyone wins. Given our love of question programs on tv, these christmas party games will prove popular especially with adults at your party
