By now I’m sure everyone has heard of the nasty situation the country of Haiti is in after a wicked earthquake that pretty much destroyed everything. The people of Haiti still need all the help they can get and this is a great chance for skaters to step up and do good, which is exactly what Identity Boardshop, Dema and the lovely Claire, founder of the brand spankin’ new skateboard non-profit “Good Lookin Out” intend to do by putting on a sweet game of skate, BBQ and raffle where you could win, a new car!
Actually, you won’t win a new car, but the prizes for the game of skate are:
1st place: $500
2nd place: $300
3rd place: $200
and don’t forget about the raffle which will be stuffed with skate gear, decks, clothes, shoes, dvds and more, plus the “dude, get yourself a bib” mouthwatering BBQ.
Of course, this is not all about the prizes or food, but helping out the less fortunate in a fun, creative way. So absolutely do not miss out this February 27th, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at:
Identity Boardshop
7886 Beach Blvd.
Buena Park, CA
The entry fee is $5 (that’s only 5 dollars!!! less than a happy meal and a lot better food) and all proceeds go to the American Red Cross (to assist in Haiti).
If you just can’t make it, maybe you live in Omaha, Nebraska or if you read this in the year 2043, you can still help by getting in touch with Claire to donate sick skate goods for the raffle or help Good Lookin Out in their quest to help skaters.Read More:

He only gets one board a month from Chocolate (yeah right)
He likes his deck to be nice and broken in
Kids don’t ask for his board at demos because it’s worse than theirs!
He can’t find tools when it’s time to build a new complete
