Transformers 2 Blu-ray

Released on October 20th, after one week in stores, Transformers 2 has debuted as the biggest seller of the year. Paramount Home Entertainment announced that they sold around seven and a half million DVD/Blu-Ray units worldwide, of which 1.2 million were sold in US. This news was not unexpected considering the movie was also the biggest theatrical blockbuster of the year. If you didn’t get your copy the time to do it is now.

MichaelBay.com has opened a store recently where you can preorder your autographed Transformers 2 copy until October 16th. All the income generated from the sale will be going to  Make A Wish Foundation. DVD version is priced $40 (including shipping and handling) for USA and $45 for international orders. Blu-Ray version is priced $50 for USA and $55 for international orders. Two to three weeks are expected for delivery, after October 20th.

Scream 2009

This October Spike TV presents the fourth annual “SCREAM,” the first and only global event of its kind to honor the best in sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic genres. Taping on Saturday, October 17 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA, “SCREAM 2009″ celebrates the hottest films, tv shows, comics, actors, creators, icons and pioneers who have influenced and shaped the industry. This year’s show will also continue the tradition of featuring exclusive World Premieres from some of the most anticipated movies of 2010. The two-hour extravaganza will premiere on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 (10:00 PM-Midnight, ET/PT).
Transformers 2 movie is nominated in “The Ultimate Scream” & “Best Science Fiction Movie” categories, Michael Bay is nominated in “Best Director”, Shia LaBeouf is nominated for “Best Science Fiction Actor” and Megan Fox in “Best Science Fiction Actress”. You can vote for them all on Scream 2009’s website.

Play.com has published DVD covers of 1 and 2 Disc editions of Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. DVD editions of the movie should appear in November. You can see the covers here:
