I too ordered the Oreck Hoky from GoVacuum only to receive the Restrauteur. The dimensions and most of the functionality is the same but definitely a lower end sweeper. I called GoVacuum and they do not even have the 'HOKY' by Oreck so if you order from them you will get the cheaper model. I was offered to ship it back and may do that but I advised the GoVacuum guy he was showing the HOKEY and he should change the offer on Amazon.com as it was deceiving people. Hoover FloorMate SpinScrub 800 Hard Floor Cleaner (Multi Colored) (32.00H x 11.00W x 17.00D)
I have had two of these. The last one was inoperable after 2 years, and I only used it about once a month. It started leaking cleaner fluid all over the floor. There's an "O" ring that failed. Neither Hoover or any of its retailers can replace the "O" ring. Can't find any replacement at any hardware sore. So, the machine is useless. Hoover U6637-900 Self Propelled Bagless Windtunnel Upright
I bought a Hoover Self-Propelled WindTunnel Bagless with Powered Hand Tool (Model U6637-960) in July 2007. I was reasonably happy with it until the motor burned out last week - just 4 months past the warranty date. I have a two-bedroom apartment; this Hoover received very moderate use. Of course I checked for problems with the roller, belts, and visible clogs. The dirt cup had been recently emptied. The next step would have been to take it to a dealer for repair.
I'm finished with Hoovers. I now have a Bissell Momentum Bagless (Model 82G7-1) that I quite like, so far. It is much lighter weight than the Hoover, and easier to maneuver. One of the features I liked about the Hoover was the powered hand tool attachment. The Bissell has the same type of attachment (TurboBrush). Suction through both the base the attachment hose is very good - better than the Hoover. The dirt cup is separate from the filter (unlike the Hoover) and easier to remove and empty. On the down side, the Bissell's dirt cup is smaller and has to be emptied frequently. I paid [...] for the Hoover (Costco, with coupon). I paid [...] for the Bissell (Kohl's, on sale with coupon).

Shop Fox H2797 Remote Control - 110V - 75' Range
This Shop Fox Dust collector remote worked great until i unplugged it to move my dust collector for cleaning. after plugging it back in the plug on the unit would not make good contadct.I did a lot of checking to make sure it was not the male plug , I tried several other items with the same result..intermitent contact as the male conector was jiggeled around.
I called Shop Fox{Woodstock International)The tech support guy would not help, he held fast to the one year warranty, even though he was well aware of the electrical defect. I but a lot of tools and most companies stand by their product, especially when there is known safety defect.
I would not plug another shop fox product into my home electricl system.
Remember this thing is hot all the time!
I am going to put a couple of 3 way switches in my shop which will control the outlet the collector is plugged into and then have a good nights sleep.

These wipes work GREAT! I got a sample pack with a Hoover steam cleaner and was so impressed with them that I had to order more. I have a few cats and they tend to overeat and then decorate my rugs. I got tired of cleaning and replacing filters, so went to Fry's and picked this up for thirty-five dollars. Very powerful 12 amp motor, and easy to push around. Assembly was straight forward, five screws which the helpful manual describes in great detail. Cord is long enough, and the onboard tools are useful. Only downside is the tools don't stow away neatly as in the more expensive models, but not worth losing any stars. Bissell Lift-Off Revolution Deluxe Bagless Vacuum
So we needed to replace our hoover bag upright so we run to best buy after 2 hours of research, but found no reviews on this. WE bought it and about 1/1/2 months later, we realized that the rotating drum bacame slightly warped and the belt was coming off to the side. THe cheap plastic material was horrible! the belt while spinning of course, was cutting and melting throught the vacuume like a hot knife thru butter. Ok, no problem right? we return it get another one. 1 and 1/2 months later, same problem. ( we got a slightly different model) but the same plastic drum and trhe same problem. OK maybe back luk. AGin we go to best buy and get another one. AGain, slightly different, (more expensive) model. same cheap plastice drum that gets warped too easily under the *normal* heat it generates. 1.5 months later, same problem. Guess what? we get ANOTHER one! I was flabbergasted when they wouldnt give me money back or store credit. SO they paid for an even more expensive one. 1.5 months later same problem. Please spare your self this life-struggle, and (BTW, BISSLE cUsTomER support(if u can call it that) SUX!!!) the worst vaccumes in the world.

I got this tool thinking that it would be the lifesaver I was looking for to dust my blinds. I found that no such thing exists. :) It is a good tool, but doesn't fully dust anything. This product is much larger and heavier that other products in the same category. It takes far too long to heat up and once it does, does not produce enough steam to effectively press the clothes. The water tank is fixed and difficult to fill, much less clean at a later date. Shop-Vac #90585-19 Wet Pick-Up Foam Filter
These are so much easier to clean up than the combination filter (foam / paper) that are supposedly usable for wet and dry pick up. I used my ShopVac to empty a algae clogged man made pond earlier this season. The algae was simple and fast to rinse out of the foam filter sleeve. It would have been a major task with the other filter. The Shopvac 905-85-1 Foam Filter Sleeves are less expensive than the other filters. When they get too gross or filthy, just toss and replace it.
I think these foam filters are the better choice for wet pick up uses and I'm happy with this purchase.
