Coaches, the Youth Soccer Coach team just completed another soccer formation diagram for you. You asked for more 11V11 formations, and we created one for you. This formation is very versatile and equally supports offense and defense.
There are 13 pages of goodness, including five diagrams. We’ve even created two alternatives – one with a flat four midfielder formation, and one with the popular diamond formation. There is plenty of room for coaches notes too!

Youth Soccer Skills Evaluation Forms
Coaches, the team at Youth Soccer Coach just loaded a great worksheet to be used for youth soccer player skills evaluation and assessment. It is a great worksheet for taking notes during tryouts, judging the strengths and weaknesses of your own players, and assessing what position might be the best fit for your soccer players skills.
There are 160 criteria to assess the soccer skills of your players. The criteria are broken into categories such as:
- fundamentals
- offensive skills
- defensive skills
- goalkeeper skills
- general skills
- personality characteristics
- mental attributes
- physical characteristics
There is plenty of room for notes, grading soccer skills on a 1-5 scale, tracking results from skills tests and so on. This is one of Youth Soccer Coach’s most intense efforts to date and we think you’ll really like it.
