Air Reference Panel for Oxygen Sensors and Carbon Probes

The A-13893 Series of air supplies is designed to provide reference and purge air for the AP Series of Carbon and O2 probes. All models use a rugged double-diaphragm pump designed for an industrial environment. The flow gauges have two-inch scales for readability and easy adjustment. A replaceable filter prevents particulate infiltration of the supply lines.
Models are available with a complete housing for surface mounting or with a front panel only for installation into a controlpanel. All versions are 50/60 Hz at 28 Watts.

Standard EA Series Rotary Actuators

The standard EA series of actuators contains both gear driven crankshaft and hydraulic powered axial shaft actuators. They may be used with combustion air dampers and a wide variety of low, medium and high torque rotary shaft valve bodies with crankarms. The EA series can accommodate applications requiring position to be held or returned to normal position during power interruptions. Used for two position floating and proportional electric control, these actuators are employed wherever it is desirable to move a load in either direction or to stop it at any point in the stroke. Typical applications include:
Heat treat furnaces
Ovens
Heat recovery systems
Water and oil cooling systems

New Economy Carbon Probe

The AP8 series carbon probe provides the benefit of low cost without compromising quality. Value engineering the probe has enabled use of standard components through simplified design. The AP8 uses the same proven Zirconia cell as our AP1 series probe. The protection tube is 1/2 inch, NPT full schedule 40, RA 330 pipe. The screw cover Aluminum connection head is the same as used on our thermocouples. All non-immersed components are rated for 260°C (500°F) or higher. The probe is available in standard stock sizes of 21″, 24″, 32″ and with screw or quick disconnect plugs. Happy New Year from the Eurotherm Team
Best wishes for 2010 from Eurotherm Heat Treatment.

Hot (certainly), Flat (distorted) and Crowded?
Some downtime has been very useful and enabled me to catch up on time with my family, some house-work items, chance to develop some more knowledge in Social Media/marketing and I also had a bit of time to start reading Thomas Friedman “Release 2.0 Hot, Flat, and Crowded.”
Tom’s book even in the first few pages certainly made me really think about the Economic and Environmental crises that are impacting the world today. I hope that with a renewed vigor and some interesting products in the pipeline, myself and others at Eurotherm will be able to help Heat Treaters and Furnace Manufacturers to provide services that improve the efficiency of processing (lower energy use = lower environmental impact) at an overall reduced lifetime cost.

…thanksgiving is over, so what’s new?
I took the opportunity to tag a few days of vacation onto the end of the thanksgiving holiday and so for the first time in a few years managed to have my Birthday as a vacation day – so now refreshed, I intend to blog on a more frequent basis and get back to more discussions revolving around heat treatment.
Topics such as Social Media/Marketing are important so they will not completely disappear off the radar but will have a lower profile on this blog - I must quickly mention Beth from Seco Warwick’s blog about Marketing, this has some interesting information and advice around Marketing plus a nice compliment about the recent Social Media presentations I recently placed on this blog, please click the following link to go to Beth’s blogsite - http://missmarketing.wordpress.com/

Social Media Heat Treat Video – quick link
I have been asked to provide a quick link to the Social Media in Heat Treat video, this now should allow access to the video by cellphone and is an alternative link if you have trouble seeing the video through the vodpod link on the sidebar.
