Sea World is the perfect venue to capture some fun images of children….colorful backdrops and lots of fun activities for the kids!! They always end up forgetting about the camera and just have fun!

My friend Luciana asked me to take some portraits of her adorable son, Enzo. He’s three years old and a BALL of energy! We could hardly keep up with him. As you can see… he even had me climbing the ropes!!

If anybody wants family portraits at Sea World, I have a season pass so… I’m in!!!

Your children are only young once and kids grow up so FAST. I think it’s really important to take as many pictures along the way as you can.

Two great people and good friends, rolled into one great couple!!! Like a taco. mmmm………………. Tacos……..

Ok! I’m back now.

Anyway, we darted out the door and hustled 3 blocks to the beach…just in time to capture the last 20 minutes of sunset for some portraits of these two. Tommy and Lucinda were naturals in front of the camera!
We got some fun pictures in record time!!!

We are very excited about their engagement and can’t wait for the wedding, hopefully somewhere tropical, south pacific-ish… Fiji maybe???? Not to force you two into a direction BUT…. everyone knows that we shoot tropical destination weddings, right?

The Russ family and I go waaay back. I first met Mike at SeaWorld San Diego.
We both were helping train dolphins for a new dolphin interaction facility called Discovery Cove in Florida. THAT happens to be the place where he met his wife, Kim, who also worked with us.
Fast forward to today….. and now they have two little kiddos AND live right back in San Diego! None of us could stay away from San Diego for too long.
I just L.O.V.E it here!
We decided to take some pictures at Balboa Park, which is always a great choice for family portraits. There’s a lot for the kids to look at and play with.

OH how blessed you two are… to have such a beautiful family. We love you guys.

I thought I’d give you a little taste of what’s been going on at our house

UM… HOUSTON….WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

This is one of our favorite engagement sessions ever!

We got to photograph this awesome couple….. Sean and Mairead.
Mairead is a nurse and Sean is a Naval Officer! Both of them are as nice as it gets and are madly, head over heals in love!

So…. in honor of these two giving souls…. we are going to post w.a.y more pictures than we normally do!
Thats right……. a smorgasbord of LOVE! I mean its only a few less pictures than I posted for my own wedding for goodness sake.

We started off this outdoor engagement session at Spreckels Park on Coronado Island. This park happens to be the exact spot where Sean and Mairead had their first kiss! How cool! Then, we moved on to the beach for some pics in front of the famous Hotel del Coronado. The beach is always a great location with the afternoon sunset!
