Hey, I just got onto this forum, although I'm sure I've met some of you guys before. I was at Mountain Madness and Venus (one of the, like, fifty who stayed). The underground scene down here by Willmington is practically non-existent, but I hear it is rolling up in the Triangle. Any thoughts?

Join us for our 1 year anniversary and NYE bash! Can you believe it's been 1 year already. We could not have done it without the support of our fans. We really appreciate the support. We have a very special treat this year. You may remember him from last year but if you did not get a chance to come out, we are pleased to have Hotwax Harley again this year to be our very special guest DJ. He rocked the dance floor last year so you will not want to miss it.

Hotwax has DJ'ed in many metropolitan areas over the years including: Chicago, New York City, Orlando, Atlanta and Washington DC, as well as playing in some of North Carolina's most top-rated clubs: Oasis, NV, CC, Legends, Mythos, Scorpio, Babylon and Club Oxygen. He also had very successful residencies at Power Company in Durham, NC and hot weeklies called Radiance and Insomnia at Club Gotham in Chapel Hill, NC.

We are also starting a second room on the patio (with heaters!). Nogui will be spinning the best in 80's, disco, old school, hip hop and more for a change of pace in the main room. Champagne on hand and free party favors. Get there early as we are expecting a sell out crowd.

Hey all. my name is Lee btw. Had a small promo company back in 2003, only had 4 small parties but we did bring you Reid Speed to Cary, NC of all places, that small place Studio56...... i doubt n e one would remember, but who knos. i took some time off from the scene, but this would b my 10year anniversary since i first started going to parties. Remember when TeeBee and Usual Suspects came to Kings night club in downtown raleigh. Toys for Tots? Remember the System Parties and the Durham Armory... or The Power Company? What ever happened to "Sonic Boom"?

Well, this part of the state use to Friggin Rock, believe it or not.... and i would like to c it happen again..

I hav a venue set up in Durham, i can c 300ppl filling it nicely, its bigger then Kings which was really cool back when, and ill throw some couches in there too..

the kicker is......... WHO DO U WANT TO SEE???? Thats a very complex question so hold on for a sec.

i'm strapped for time so i just need some ppl to do some research, go online make some calls, get some prices and info from the DJ's that you like websites and c if u can make it mathematically work out... I'm a bigg DnB fan, so i was thinking someone that would draw a small following to help ensure the venue fills up, like John B for example. He came to Gotham one time which is about the same size as my venue and that party was nice, not too crowed, but definatly good vibes...

Think on this one, and IF something positive comes out of starting this thread then I'll make sure it gets put into motion. I've got the cash, the printing press for the flyers are warmed up and ready 2go, would need help distributing flyers, the sound system is standing by and the venue is available now and at least for another year!!

Thank a Promoter if u c 1, if you've been to some really kick a** e-vents then u know that putting 2geather a really good party isn't easy, so i hav to ask for help because i no longer hav my partner from back in the days of LiquidFusion, but it can and will b done, it's just as simple as selection of the main event DJ and making sure ppl show up to this first event so PROMO means everything.... "why did Spins.US close the website, it used to b so easy 2use......maybe it was too easy?"

hope this thread starts moving forward, i want the new generation of kids to kno what a real party is.......

Hello! <:T I was just wondering if anyone knew how to shuffle? Specifically around the Jacksonville, Richlands, or Wilmington area. If so I would really appreciate it if I could learn from you. Before I had tried to learn from youtube videos except I was told that those were no good and to find someone in person. So now I'm on a search for someone to teach me.
