Vivacious and pretty-looking Akriti Kakar, whose musical journey began after winning the first ever singing talent show Sa Re Ga Ma PA , is back on the show and how! This time round Akriti is leading the show as a host on the evening of New Year’s. Rocking show.
Well guys, the spoiler is out and we have top 3 contestants on hand, One has been eliminated and if you do not want to read the name please don’t read ahead.
Eliminated contestant is Pratibha Singh Bghel. Was it a shock to you ? Well yes the spoiler news says pratibha eliminated from saregamapa challenge 2009 on 2nd Januray 2009.
Personally I hope this news is not true but if it is true it will be a big disappointment for all of us.
The guest for the Saregamapa Challenge 2009 26th December episode is Emraan Hashmi, who came for the promotion of Raaz 2.
Stage was made like a haunted old “haveli” replete with old paintings, statues and furniture ‘ spooky atmosphere.
The set lights keep going off mysteriously’ Emraan comes with a haunted painting of Aditya which turns upside down, a bloody hand falls on Shoumen while he’s singing, Emraan’s gift of a Barbie doll to Yashita turns into a skeleton, Shankar turns into a snake, a scorpion comes out when Shankar puts his hand in a box of popcorn, Adi sees Emraan shifting between two chairs constantly . All contestants sang songs from horror films. Asma may be evicted but her ghost continues to haunt everyone.
Emraan dances on stage at the end with Himesh and the other mentors, on the song “jhalak dikhlaa ja” to call the ghost (since this song was rumored to be a call for spirits).
If Asma’s elimination took you by surprise then you’re in for real shocker in the this episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009.
Kolkata’s Debojit Dutta, who was touted as the favorite, has been evicted from the show.

Finally the moment which many were waiting for, Asma Rafi gets eliminated. Now we are left with real singers.
Himesh - You should be proud of yourself to have reached top 6.. You have already become a star.. Asma starts crying and Himesh says, You dont look good crying.. If you cry, the whole audience will cry..
Aadesh says, I have already made her to sing for my song.. He adds that few days back Ustad Zakhir Hussain watched the show and appreciated all the singers.. This show is a prestigious stage.
Shankar - He asks Asma if she ever thought she would reach top 6. She says NO. Shankar adds, You know what are your strengths and weaknesses.. So, work upon it. Just concentrate on your singing and do your riyaz properly.. You can then be back for next season of Saregamapa Challenge.
Pritam - Everybody loves you and everyone talks about you.. We will miss you.
Asma says, I am crying because I will miss the stage and all you people as well.
Aadesh says, She always lightens up the stage.. So, I would request that she be part of the show.. Pritam requests that she and Aditya host the show together for the rest of the episodes.
