Humor is one of the best known remarks of The Simpsons.The Simpson’s is an American animated comedy sitcom by FOX production major characterized by the Simpson Family.A typical family who live in Springfield living in an American culture , fictional characters have bulky eyes and wide mouths and yellow color bodies with different hair colors. Each of the family members have different but interesting characters that provide laughter and amusement to viewers.

Characters of the story are important to viewers.

Father Homer voiced by Dan Castellaneta including Homer’s father Abe. He is rude, overweight, incompetent,inconsistent, clumsy, mindless, alcoholic, and lazy. But despite his dysfunctional behavior he became the most popular and influential character in The Simpson’s series.Number of remarkable experiences he had that possesses integrity and bravery to protect his family that most viewers can relate to. A surprisingly caring father to his children and a husband to his wife.

Mother Marjorie “Marge” Simpson voiced by Julie Kavner and also does the voices of Marge’s mother Jacqueline and sisters Patty and Selma. Amazingly patient wife of Homer Simpson and was once a good police officer in Springfield.Her most noticeable feature is her blue hair, styled like a big long beehive.Her attitude portrays portrayed as naive but optimistic,and an excellent cook.She puts up with a lot from her family.

Bartholomew “Bart” J. Simpson, the eldest among the children of Homer and Marge Simpson. He is voiced by Nancy Cartwright. Hi is rebellious,disrespectful for authority but with a sharp wit. Although he usually gets into lots of troubles and can be sadistic and selfish, Bart also exhibits many qualities of high integrity. Bart’s character proves to be one of the most well-known characters in the history of American television animation.

Lisa Marie Simpson, middle child of Homer and Marge Simpson. Lisa is very intelligent 8 year old girl and became the Student Council President, one of the most intelligent characters on the show. She loves to play saxophone and a truly vegetarian. Her too much intellectual capability can be not-so-right” sometimes” but she is loyal to her family.

Margaret “Maggie” Simpson, the youngest of the five main family members and is often times seen as a baby . But at the early age, she is a keen observer. Aware of her surrounding’s. And there are some scenes where she has stepped in to save her family’s life.

The Simpson’s became part of our childhood and as we grow old we still loved to watch them.Years passed by but still “The Simpson’s” is aired world wide.Only minimal physical changes occurs just as what they look and they did decades ago.Awarded many times for best television series and longest running TV show series of all time.

In character movies, cartoon or tv series, there are many skills or abilities many people can obtain, lets say thru accident or alien abduction and these aliens put some unknown chemical/element in your body causing it’s composition to change and giving you extraordinary abilities. And some just have the powers since the day they were born.

Not all superheroes possess super powers. There are some superhero who who relies on their gadgets, physical strength and special skill. The superhero I am pointing to is struck by lightning, he may not be physically strong but he’s movement speed is unbelievably fast. He is widely known as “The Flash“.

He maybe like an ordinary person, someone you idolize in real life, someone you can run to incase of trouble or emergency, someone who you can play with but he has these abilities that any normal human can’t do – he can run faster than a speeding bullet, he may not be intelligent but what can intelligence do when in a blink of an eye he can go from one point to another. The Flash’s real name Barry Allen. Barry Allen is a Police Scientist, living a normal life, doing the normal way he used to, until one day, he met an accident and was struck by lightning and chemical. He woke up with this unusual feeling knowing that the combination of lighting and chemical has given him extra ability. He was to discover the hidden powers that lies on him, the super-speed. The accident cause changes in his molecular composition that gave him this awesome power to move fast. Though he can’t control the speed he has gained from the accident, he is still willing to help anyone in need.

The Flash is viewed in each series to be an immature type of guy. He is easy-go-lucky and thinks that he is a ladies’ man. He might be a little too immature but he really looks like a comedian. One good thing about The Flash is that he always smile (yeah, a good person always let people see his very bright teeth). He dreamt of being a pop star, but never reached it but instead he’d become a super hero. I know that the 1998 The Flash series shows that he joined the Justice League of Super Heroes. That would be a great match with him, people with extra powers, but in some series, The Flash has become the comedian of the team, though he really look like one but his still a super hero. Swear to God that this is one of the greatest Hero Series I’ve watched.

Silver Surfer, A fictional character in a comic magazine published by Marvel Comics and later on, became a TV Series. Silver Surfer first appeared in Fantastic Four’s TV Series entitled “Galactus Trilogy” (1966).

The story began when Norrin Radd from the planet Zenn-La, made a deal to Galactus to become his herald in exchange of Zenn-La’s safety and away from Galactus massive destruction. Galactus granted his wish and Radd became his servant. Known as the Silver Surfer, he possessed great power with a silver flying surf board to which he can travel more than a speed of light in search for new planets.

Galactus eat planet’s energy to regain his internal strength. Until Silver Surfer founded planet Earth. As the Surfer came face-to-face-battle with the Fantastic Four, he rediscover his true identity. He saved planet Earth and by betraying Galactus, he was punished in return.

The Fantastic Four Movie(2005) launched and released its sequel: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer last year, 2007. Both directed by Tim Story.

Major Characters:

Mister Fantastic-

Reed Richards, the leader of the Fantastic Four, Scientist and Husband of Susan(The Invisible Woman). Portrayed by Ian Gruffud. He has the power to be Elastic. He can change every part of his body in different shapes and sizes.

Invisible Woman-

Susan “Sue” Storm Richards,wife of Reed Richards(Mr. Fantastic) but Doctor Dooms love interest. Portayed by Jessica Alba. The light and the soul of Fantastic Four. Just as what her name say. She has the ability to be Invisible and with invisible power energy, that serves as her armor for the defense.

The Thing-

Ben Grimm, Alicia Master’s love bee. Portrayed by Michael Chiklis. Literally big but also with a big sense of humor. Power of Super blasting strength is what he got. His rocky appearance and his famous words “It’s clobberin’ time!” that became his trademark.

Human Torch-

Johnny Storm, the playboy jelly of the group and brother of Sue(The Invisible Woman). Portrayed by Chris Evans. With his popular words “Flame On!” before indulging his body on fire. He also has the ability to fly.

The Silver Surfer-

Compromised as Herald of Galactus in exchange of his planet’s safety and away from Galactus destruction. Formerly known as Norrin Radd and was portrayed by Doug Jones and voice of The Silver Surfer, Laurence Fishburne. All his powers are coming from the silver surfboard.Without it, he is weak.

Doctor Doom-

Victor Von Doom, a very intelligent scientist but absolute protagonist of the Fantastic Four. Portrayed by Julian McMahon. Wearing a mask to hide his true identity from the world. And try to steal the power of The Silver Surfer. The power to generate massive bolts of electric energy.

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer got a PG-13 Rating. Yeah, not bad. In which according to Tim Story, they didn’t change the story nor cut any scenes just to get the rating. But of course, it is understood for the viewers to guide/supervise their children while watching because of the mild violence and inappropriate scenes for younger children.

This story covers a pup which is abandoned by his parents long time ago in an Animal clinic. Though the dog is really not abandoned but he is the only animal who has escaped in the hands of the evil veterinarian. His parents were used for experiments and been sent to the moon and never to be seen again. In an alley were trash is being dumped, courage stayed and cried. Muriel, an old lady with a warm heart, noticed this dog alone with no one to comfort him. He picked up the dog along with his husband Eustace and began to go home in their house in the middle of the dessert.

Courage has been treated like one of the family but for Muriel’s husband, courage, treated as a slave. Here began courage’s adventures. Since the place is in the middle of nowhere, it has been know to be the landing point of aliens. Week by week, Aliens came, attacking and trying to use Muriel and Eustace for human experiment, but with courage

around, it never happened. Courage may be a coward dog, but with everything that Muriel has given and showed him, he never gave up protecting the two from the hands of aliens. Thus, resulting to a never ending battle between aliens.

The Cartoon TV series focused on what the dog Courage can do to protect his foster parents from being abducted by aliens. Many types of alien had tried to use Muriel and Eustace for human experiment and some tried to eat them. Sometimes alien may not be harmful but the fact that in one mistake, they can cause major damages to the planet. Sometimes, these aliens transform themselves into animals or into human itself, to disguise and not be recognized. Courage is a real expert when it comes to alien, he can distinguish the alien from its copied form. Aliens who lived underground, even live Eggplants become Courage’s enemy. But not all of his enemies were aliens, there were strange human beings which introduce themselves as a salesman or a newscaster but in the end, all of there motives seems to be revealed when Courage is on the job.

Each series of courage the cowardly dog is really fascinating. It makes me wonder how Courage figure out ways to defeat his enemies. A dog with a Huge brain and brilliant too, thats how I see courage in each series. I really enjoy watching this cartoon series on DVD while eating popcorn and seating in a soft couch, though Courage the cowardly dog is played in Cartoon network, i enjoy it more in a DVD because I can watch most of the series twice a day or more.
