Samsung Tocco compared to Apple iPhone 3G The Samsung Tocco is an impressive phone but is it good enough to take down the Apple device. T3 take a look at the two phones and compare the price, features and performance. On price they found the Samsung Tocco to be the winner with availability on any network. O2 will give the Tocco away for free when you choose the £35 a month plan, which comes with 400 free texts and 400 anytime minutes.
The performance comparison went to the iPhone and the features test was won by the Samsung Tocco. The Tocco has a 5MP camera with a Xenon flash and you can create and edit videos on the phone.

Gem Diamonds 478 Carat Diamond
Gem Diamonds Ltd., a miner of the precious stones in Africa, said the world's 20th-largest rough diamond was discovered at its Letseng mine in Lesotho. A rough diamond of similar dimension from the same mine was recently valued at $12 million. Due to the outstanding clarity and round shape of this diamond, it may be worth more and after polishing could fetch tens of millions of pounds.
A 150 carat polished gem stone may be produced from the huge diamond. Gem Diamonds spokesperson added that initial examination indicated that the white diamond has a completely flawless center. The mine, which was recently sold to Gem Diamonds by De Beers, has already produced three of the world's biggest diamonds including the 603 carat Lesotho Promise, the 493 carat Leteng Legacy and the 601 carat Lesotho Brown.
The stone may yield more than $45,000 a carat because of its size and quality, RBS Capital Markets London-based analyst Des Kilalea, wrote in a report to clients today. Prices of VS2 G diamonds, a commonly traded gem, are $5,130 for a one-carat stone, or 20 percent more than a year ago, according to Antwerp- based PolishedPrices.com.
Gem fell 31.5 pence, or 4.3 percent, to 710 pence as of 12:11 p.m. in London, valuing the company at 447 million pounds ($824 million).
The Letseng mine has now produced four of the world's 20 largest rough diamonds and the three largest diamonds recovered this century, it said. A carat is equal to a fifth of a gram.

Averatec's 10.2-inch netbook Atom N270-based Averatec's officially unveiled another 10.2-inch, Atom N270-based netbook. Fiat Dino badge could soon be on the road again Fiat has reached an agreement with Lotus Sports Cars to develop its own version of the next generation Lotus Elise due in 2010. The Fiat model, to go on sale the following year, would provide the Italian brand with an affordable yet exciting rear wheel drive roadster. Whilst the agreement with Lotus has been speculated for many months now, it was previously thought that Fiat would badge the car under the Abarth brand. Now, according to Car magazine, the CEO of Fiat, Lorenzo Sistino is saying “it would be brilliant if we could bring back the Dino badge”.
Fans of the Elise may remember that back in 2000, Lotus did a similar arrangement with Opel/Vauxhall, helping to create the VX220. When launched many motoring journalists even gave it the nod over the than Series 1 Elise.
