 I just recently discovered felt food. I think it is such a wonderful idea for small children and it makes a great gift. My daughter loves to play pretend meal time and cooking, and felt food is so much nicer than the plastic kind you find in toy stores. I recently found a great Etsy shop that carries the cutest felt food. It is called Ginger Blossoms and Andrea makes the most realistic creations that look good enough to eat. A basket of felt food would make a very cute holiday gift for your little one or a little one you know. Also, if you purchase her felt cookies, 50% of the profits go to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. Take a look at all of the fabulous creations in her shop!

 It's a sad sad day for me. One of my favorite TV shows of all time has been canceled. It was such a great show, but apparently I was one of the very few who thought so. Joe never got to propose to Victory! Will they ever be together? I'll never know! And more importantly....

Go Find a Shoebox!
 I found out about this wonderful opportunity to give on Less Than Threee's blog. It is a program called Operation Christmas Child sponsored by Samaritan's Purse . All you have to do to help a child in need is fill a shoebox with items they might like. You pick whether you would like your shoebox to be for a boy or a girl and you have three age ranges from which to choose. Grab a shoebox and head to Target, Wal-Mart or anywhere else and buy some cute items you think the child may like such as small toys, personal hygiene products, and school supplies. Once you fill your shoebox, you add a $7 check to help with shipping, put a rubber band around it and drop it off at one of the drop off locations in your area. The boxes will be sent out to children around the world. This program is going on next week so you better hurry! Drop off locations are open November 17th - 24th. Find a shoebox (or shoeboxes if you are feeling very generous) and visit their website to read all the details and find a drop off location near you!
Etsy Feature: AgruArts
 I found a wonderful pottery shop on Etsy while looking for a gift. The shop is named AgruArts. April creates unique pieces of handmade wheel thrown and handbuilt pottery. I placed an order and the customer service was excellent. My item arrived very quickly and I even received a small gift with my order! She also creates wonderful Jewish pieces such as menorahs and other items with Hebrew writing on them. Check out her shop for a beautiful piece for your home or for a great gift!
Fun Gadget
My daughter found a strange item at the park the other day. It said defibulator on it, which I thought was the machine that is used to start someone's heart, so I was kind of confused. I was wondering what in the world it could be so I looked it up online. It was a deFIBulator, not a defribillator! It is a portable lie detector! It is supposed to detect vibrations in the voice to determine if someone is lying with 65% accuracy. I don't know about that! It would make a fun gift though. Supposedly, you can use it in person or over the phone, and if the person is lying the little man on the screen will get horns and his nose will grow. The one we found was broken. The price is $50. Etsy Feature: Miss Pretty Pretty
 I came across a wonderful and creative item on Etsy the other day. Miss Pretty Pretty makes these wonderful card table playhouses. I have never seen anything like these. They are such a wonderful idea! You can choose from a beauty shop, firehouse, post office, grocery store and more. They come with removable pieces so your child can count, move things around, and play for hours. You just slip it over a card table! Unfortunately, she has had so many orders for Christmas that you won't be able to get one by then, but they make great presents for birthdays too, or just because!
