Outside of the orange (?) alligator, Playskool's new edition of Gator Golf should be familiar to those of us who remember the original version's commercial from our pre-kid days. "What could be greater than playing a game of golf with a gator?" went the old jingle, and this game should have new-school kiddoes singing a similar tune.

The brands are all the typical kid stuff you'd find at Macy's, like Roxy, Disney, Guess and Puma but there are loads of others (67 by my count). For instance, you can pick up a Hannah Montana t-shirt for $3.30, Roxy Jeans for $5.92 or even this Small Paul "footed sleeper" (we call them feetey pajamas in my family, pictured) for $36.

I love stuff that multitasks. And kids, they are always using forks as telephones and plates as flying saucers, so they instinctively get the whole concept. You know who else gets it? Plan Toys. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was totally upset when my blossoming belly outgrew my favorite pair of jeans. The demin pair in question were by J Brand Jeans. Simple, clean cut and great fitting …once. Had I known there were J Brand maternity jeans, I wouldn’t have had to shed any tears or try to use a rubber band to extend my beloved jeans fly in order to get a couple more days, weeks or maybe even a month of wear out of them.
