With this piece I wanted to create something visually relaxing. I was waiting for the chance of creating something with the colours I love the most: blue and orange. Shari is simply my sister's name, but I think suits the woman in the painting.
This was made using vectors (with Illustrator) for the woman and painting the background in Photoshop. Lights and texture on woman's body/umbrella are made in Photoshop as well.

Sometimes sweet memory of life fades away as time goes by. I hope to depict the 'moment' just before it is forgotten.

I created this image with the help of modern computer technology. The clean sharp vector shape creates a contrast to the smooth natural texture. The watercolor background brings calmness to the drawing. Overall, I tried to create a drawing in the combination of traditional and modern art.

This piece of my artwork is inspired by my imagination. They are 'flying foxes' with wild and daring attitude. The new-born flying fox is shy but one day he will be bold enough to dominate the world and protect them.

This image is a homage to the song of Nick Cave, “Where the wild roses grow”. It is a extraction of an illustrated short story about the song. I really loved that song and that inspired me to illustrate in my way.
I think it really fits with the song. It is quite mysterious and also full of love.

The piece is made as if taking out of an old newspaper, traveling magazine or book. The rusty, dirty and old look creates a harmony with the old air balloons, flying over a map of the world!

Ouro Preto is full of alleys, so I thought it would be nice to have a girl being alert for someone or something in one of these alleys!
