Jessica Alba decided to take up the challenge and take part in an online stare competition. The contest is part of the ibeatyou advert campaign and its very nice.
I am sure that most people will see the video and certainly beat her as its very difficult to close your eyes and avoid staring at her
Its seems that the latest gadget will be the mini-projector. 3M is the company behind this technology and Samsung seems to be the first of their customers that will place this on their mobile phones. This of course will come with a price. It is expected that this will add up $200 - $400 to the cost of the phone.
Paul Osborn, from Bletchley UK, decided to put his wife Sharon, for sale on an eBay auction. In his advert he gives us the reason for doing so:
Here is my lying, cheating, adulterous whore of a wife of 26 years
The bid started a £0.01 and after hundreds of bids it ended up to £750,000, until he decided to close the auction. He also included a picture of his wife picking her nose! There are no news from the mother-of-two’s side, but we can expect at least a law suit after such advert.
My question is why there were so many bids? If what Paul claims is true then who would want her?

Bex, Switzerland: The ex air force - and current Swiss International Airways - pilot, Yves Rossy flew over the Alps with, his own invention, the rocket propelled wings.
Fusion Man, as he is called in his home town, flew his self made device on Wednesday after years of planning and a $190,000 so far budget that was payed by both Rossy and his generous sponsors. The flight started at 7,500 feet and he reached speeds of up to 186 miles per hour.
He now hopes he repeats this feat by flying the English Channel and the Grand Canyon.
Lately a lot has been written in press regarding new renewable systems (1, 2) that promise through their innovation to change our lives. Selsam?s SuperTurbines deliver just that and it probably one of the most promising new ideas. It flows on the idea that the higher you go the faster the wind is, so the higher you place a wind turbine, the higher its efficiency will be. Placing many seven foot single-rotor turbines on a flexible carbon fibre shaft, produces large amounts of power compared to a single conventional rotor of the same size.
Whether its held high with a floating blimp or on a lightweight, flexible shaft, this setup can be deployed at sea.
The simplicity of the gearbox and the whole construction has the potential to deliver fast, simple and low maintenance turbine systems across the globe.
In Ghana they apparently believe that when someone dies they should do it in style. This is the reason why they have a different way of looking at a coffin. So depending on the habits or wishes of the dead, the last residence can take the shape of a huge Coca Cola bottle, a giant cigar, a large Air Jordan, rooster, cobra etc.
See the video below from Pa Willies shop in Nungua.
Its really amazing what you can find in eBay. Seller kflan1922 is selling a Turbine powered 928 Porsche. The super car is equipped with a Boeing 502-6 turboshaft jet engine under the hood. The eBay advert has so far 9 bids, and at $6,600 it seems like a bargain!
