Well, people who own this rice cooker and expect the performance of Zijirushi and Panasonic will be disappointed because this rice cooker couldn’t performance well when there more or low water when cooking, it’s need more precision!
Just look at the feedback from one of the user then you will understand:

This Panasonic SR-TMB10 5.5 cup rice cooker caught my attention when it’s have almost perfect 5 star score out of 50 owner feedback. I personally don’t own this model, but I have other panasonic rice cookers that have terrific performance in the past.

Panasonic SR-TMB10 - Good Points
- Make tasty white rice and brown rice. Cook brown rice reasonable quickly and fluffier compare to on/off rice.
- Easy to clean. No mess on the kitchen top.
- Didn’t burn rice even though with low water sometime.
- Extra feature such as soup, porridge(white rice steamer) and slow cooker setting
- This rice cooker looks good on the kitchen top.
Bad
- The rice cooker time will only cook 13 hours in advance and will only keep rice warm for 12 hours. For me, this is good enough but some people might need 18 hours in advance.
- Very unreadable manual. Again, I don’t read manual, so this is not a problem for me. But if you are new to rice cooker, you might need to do a bit of trial and error?
Lastly, this 5 ½ cup rice cooker is right you if you have to serve 2-3 family members. Personally, I love this rice cooker, one of the best rice cookers out there:)

This classic zojirushi 6 cup rice cooker model is the one to get if you are looking for a quality, affordable and long lasting rice cooker. It’s a on/off basic rice cooker without any extra feature, the good thing is .. it’s easy to use and the bad thing is you can’t program the timer. The set come with a removable steaming tray, nonstick cooking pan, measuring cup, and spatula - the removable parts make this steamer easy to clean, and a removable cord makes it easy to store.
 Zojirushi 6 Cup Rice Cooker Review Some owner having problem to cook brown rice, wild rice in this model, again, don’t follow the instruction in the manual because the measurement will be in Japanase cups. So just take note on this if you are getting the Zojirushi rice cooker. Overall, this branded Zojirushi rice cooker is excellent!
