The past couple of days I have been shooting at the largest marching-event in the world: the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse. Every year 40.000 participants walk a distance of 30 km, 40 km or 50 km, for 4 consecutive days! Over 1.3 million spectators visit the event.

Landscape changes

An American photographer around the 1970s took photos from the exact same position as they did a century ago - originating in the 1870s. He repeated this in the years 2007/2008. Remarkable changes to the landscape.

Speyer Museum

A few images from the Speyer Technik Museum in Germany. They have an impressive collection of old cars, steam trains, a U9 submarine open for visit, a large collection of planes and a complete 747 on display. Definately worth a visit.

Washed out

Are your colors in Photoshop washed out when you are using ‘save for web’? Many of us struggle with this annoyance. It's not your computer or your hpotocamera. The trick is color management. I found a good explanation and a solution on this site.
