Angelina Jolie is pregnant with twins ans is due to give birth in August. With more than one month until the deadline, the happy Pitt-Jolie couple has decided to keep the mom to be, safe and comfy in France. Angelina is currently recovering in a mansion in the South of France, where the paparazzi have absolutely no access. The couple didn’t chose this destination randomly, because France has one of the strictest privacy laws in the world.

Dr. Michel Sussmann, who is currently Jolie’s obstetrician, declared at a news conference in the South of France Wednesday that all is well with the expectant mom – Brad and Angelina want the world to know this. The doctor predicts that the baby will arrive in the next weeks.

“Everything is normal,” the obstetrician said in French, as he also said in English, “She is very well, and she’s okay. … Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is going well.”

When Pitt came Wednesday to visit with Zahara and Shiloh, Sussmann said: “It is simply a visit of surveillance, no birth.”

Saying that Jolie’s “very, very nice,” the doctor added, “She will stay in the hospital until the birth. I will stay with her.”

What he was not specific about was the due date. “This is something you can’t program, you never know for sure,” he said.

What can be more suitable than a post about Jennifer Aniston after a post about Brad Pitt? Ok , let’s leave the sarcasm aside because Jennifer is having a personal life again.

It seems that she and John Mayer were together again for the second stop on his summer tour, which hit St. Louis Thursday night. But rather than acknowledge her presence in the crowd, Mayer teased his audience about interest in his personal life.

“[Fans] send me links from PEOPLE,” he said, marveling at the coverage of his remarks the previous night when he – with Aniston in tow – joked about being the subject of Internet rumors. “That just tempts me to say things.” The audience at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in the St. Louis suburb of Maryland Heights roared its approval, but Mayer would not divulge any intimate details.

What were the interesting details about his private life?For example, he fears the color green, he weighed 400 pounds when he was 12 or he wrote the lyrics to the Kenny Loggins hit “Danger Zone” – at age 9. Aniston was present at the pre-concert soundcheck and during the show she remained out of sight.

Grammy winning producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins says he’s working with Britney Spears on some “very dancey, really up-tempo, aggressive, catchy, and hook friendly” material for the singer’s next album.

“I’m trying some new things … I’ve always worked with Britney and I love working with her,” Jerkins told Rap-Up TV last week at Interscope Geffen A&M’s Creme of the Crop dinner in Los Angeles. “I’m try to reinvent her and reinvent myself with her project.”

Jerkins will produce two tracks on the upcoming Britney record . He is not at his first collaboration with Spears. He also worked with the pop star seven years ago on her self-titled Britney album, producing the remix for the track “Overprotected” and “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

Even though the singer has had a rough year, the producer believes that she is still professional. He gives an example that if for some artists it can take a long time to record a song, Britney walked in at 8:30 and was out by 10:30.

As far as Spears’s mind-set, Jerkins says she’s, “working on the positive side.” Another producer, Sean Garrett, is said to be working with Speras for the new album. He declare: “I know she’s been doing a lot better … You just want to give her the opportunity to get things back together.”

The sun started to shine in her personal life also, after in the weekend Britney got to take her childs in her Studio City home for a sleepover. Adds Jerkins: “It’s about to be her time again.”

“Hulk” Hogan recent6ly declared in an interview that he stills “unconditionally” loves his wife, Linda, despite their increasingly acrimonious divorce. He adds that the reconciliation with his daughter, Brooke made him happy:

“I unconditionally love my wife, even though we’re not together anymore,” Hogan says. “The Linda that I know was a great mother and a great person.”

Hogan admitts that there have been problems between them for over 10 years, and reveals remorsement about accepting to film the reality show. Letting cameras into their home for their hit VH1 show, Hogan Knows Best, may have been a mistake: “I just think the reality show amplified the problems that were already there.”

After the divorce started in November, Hogan says his relationship with Brooke,  “was strained for a while” . And of course she had no serious reason. It’s not like her father was fooling around with one of her close friends, a woman in her 30s.

“Brooke has gone through a range of emotions,” Hogan says. “She was a little confused about who everybody was, and maybe had misinformation, but right now Brooke understands who I am, and who her mom is, and what’s real and not real. She’s doing real well now.”

Another hard time in the Hogan family is related to the 17 year oldson, Nick who is currently serving jail after the car crash that critically injured his best friend, Iraq war vet John Graziano. He was sentenced to 8 months and is currently staying in a separate cell from the other adult convicts.

“Nick understands thinking positive,” Hogan says. “Every night when we talk he says, ‘Man, Dad – we got through another day.’ He’s grateful. He knows what’s in front of him. And (moving forward), we don’t want any negative stuff around us.”

It’s no surprise anymore that the big screen version of Sex and the City has had huge success and also cashed in some big bucks -so far raked in more than $300 million. Sarah Jessica Parker was inspired when she made this choice and now she has just started. Another role of single urban professional has caught the actresses attention.

The star, 43, is in discussions with Warner Bros. about a screen version of novelist Karen Quinn’s The Ivy Chronicles, described by the Hollywood Reporter as an up-to-date take about class and the single woman in Manhattan. The difference is that the character Ivy Ames isn’t that fond of the city and moves out of the Upper East Side after the double whammy of a job loss and a divorce. This could have never happened with Carrie Bradshaw.

She has to withdraw her children from their expensive private school, though they also provide her with a eureka moment: Ames starts a service to help women land their kids in upper-crust kindergartens.

The trade paper likens The Ivy Chronicles to The Devil Wears Prada meets The Nanny Diaries, with a dash of the TV mini-series The Starter Wife thrown in.  So this should be a complex and interesting movie to see. Anyway, it will be very difficult to get SJ Parker out of Carrie Bradshaw’a shoes…

Uma Thurman is engaged to her Swiss multimillionaire boyfriend, Arpad “Arki” Busson, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

“I can confirm she is engaged,” Stephen Huvane said on Friday. New York’s Daily News was first to report the engagement.

On Saturday, the couple themselves made the announcement, on page 75 of London’s The Times.

Under the heading “Mr A. Busson and Miss U. Thurman,” it reads, “The engagement is announced between Arpad, son of Mr Pascal Busson, of Paris, and Mrs Florence Harcourt-Smith, of South of France, and Uma, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert A. F. Thurman of New York.”

In return for saying yes, the actress received some serious sparkle: an 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones. “It’s the most beautiful piece I’ve ever seen,” says a close source of the diamond ring. “Arki did a wonderful job.”

The pair began dating last summer after attending a private dinner together in Milan. Since then, their relationship quickly heated up despite the fact that the couple lived on different continents (she is based in New York, he in London).

It would be the third marriage for Thurman, who has a son and daughter with ex Ethan Hawke, whom she divorced in 2003. Her marriage to Gary Oldman ended in 1992. Busson has two sons with former supermodel Elle Macpherson, from whom he split in 2005.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are not in a hurry ro make the long termcommitment aka the wedding. At least in the nera future.

“We don’t have any plans for that right now,” declared Madden. “We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone.”

Madden recently took part as a DJ at the Oakley/Suzuki Celebrity Ride Day event in Perris, Calif.,where her gave his delarations to the press :

“Right now we’re really happy,” the Good Charlotte frontman says, “and we’re concentrating on our family, and that’s what is making us happy right now. We’re moving at our own pace.”

The rumours about the fights between Madonna and Guy Ritchie have become more and more present on the internet and in tabloids. Madonna is currently working on promoting her new album and Guy is dealing with his director career. Ritchie arrived in New York from London Monday evening assumingly after Madonna, who is in the Big Apple rehearsing for an upcoming tour. 

He  entered the Upper West Side building where he and Madonna own an apartment around 6:30 pm, accompanied by 2 bodyguards.

It was reported that the two stars spent the weekend apart – she with their three children in New York, and him in London. And to add up to the fire,  none wore their wedding bands.

Madonna’s spokesperson, Liz Rosenberg, said, “Madonna has rarely worn a wedding band over these last six years, so there’s no secret message about that.”

What is certain is that last week the singer had an encounter with divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented Paul McCartney and Prince Charles in their respective divorces.

The actress is currently filming Nailed in South Carolina with Jake Gyllenhaal and Tracy Morgan. The movie is a comedy and is expected to be a succes.

It seems that Britney Spears was recently granted with the right to keep her sons overnight. It might not seem much, but taking into consideration that the star hasn’t had her children overnight since January this is a big of a deal. She had this privilege last time after her forced hospitalization at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

At the hearing on Tuesday attended by Spears and her ex, Kevin Federline, Britney was represented by her first divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser,who took Stacy Phillips’ place.

L.A. Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini confirmed that Spears’s parenting coach attended the hearing and made statements to the court, and that Spears’s demeanor before the commissioner was “businesslike.”

“I think any judge is pleased to see progress being made by parties in a case,” Parachini added.

Until now, the oficial decisions were not made public, but sources confirm that Spears will now be allowed to have her sons Preston, 2 1/2, and Jayden, 1 1/2, with her overnight.

Their next hearing is set for July 15.
