Now a headline like that would usually cause huge distress and if you read it like I wrote it you would now all be holding your head in your hands thinking the world has ended. Defcon is selling up!!!!!

Well calm down dear its only a headline and it relates to the two bits of news I have to give you.

So first off all lets deal with ‘Selling Up’. As everyone knows time are hard at the moment so I have decided to sell off some of my stuff, but before you get too excited its just my doubles and spares. I have chucked up a few auctions on eBay and I have been quite generous with my pricings so get on over there and take a look. Anyone buying anything from me can send me their login name here through the eBay message system and I will see what I can do about postage amounts/discounts.

Now what about the closing down? Well don’t worry I am not jacking it all in, that is infact some advance warning that over the coming days/week and a bit the site may well be down for extended periods while I do some jiggery pokery to try and make this more wonderous than you could ever believe! I know its been a while guys but I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you that we are not dead. I have been extremely busy at work recently trying to finish off our current project and have not really had the time to do anything that I want to.

Rest assured however things will be changing soon and I will have a lot more time to concentrate on bringing you some ‘banging’ updates.

Speaking of updates shall we see how the Great Games Hunt is going?

Yep even though I have been busy I have managed to pick up another 3 games off the list, dropping it down to the low number of 14 still to get. And to be honest if I got off my lazy arse and just bought some of them we could drop this by a long way. Its still interesting to try and guess which game will be the last on the list. So far Coop has offered up the guess of Tail Concerto, which may well be a good guess. Anybody else fancy a guess at what I will bag as my last game?

Well I know its been a while guys but here is a quick update on what I have been up to.

But I have been busy toiling with code and databases and websites and lots of strange things, add to that I am currently in final week of the latest game I am working on so its all hands to the pump at the moment.

Teh Future

Ok the final part of my update today is some news. As our regular readers know I am not happy about the speed of the site recently, well I think I have tracked it down however in order to solve the problem its going to take a big overhaul of the site. Now because of this I am going to be stepping back into the shadows for a little while as I try to get it all sorted out, so what that means is that I will not be throwing up as many updates as I have lately until I get it done. I will continue to update you all on the progress to a complete collection but that will be about it as I ferret around in the back end.

I will still be around to post in the forums and stuff so its not like I am dissappearing, and also it might give AtariBuff a kick up the butt to do some updates as I know he has some great stuff to show you guys. So everyone should hassle him to update, throw a comment on this post and I am sure with enough name calling we can get him to do it.

You will know when I am going to make a comeback on updates as well, as you will see a big change around here. Anyway for now I hope this is enough to keep you going for now. I will see you on the forums and try to get this done as soon as possible.

Over the years the PlayStation has been graced with many games that have used licensed music as their soundtracks. Games such as Wipeout, Tony Hawks, and even in the later stages Fifa. Nowadays it is common place to see the latest games come with a musical accompaniment of the latest makeup wearing boy bands number one song. Oh and then there is also Guitar Hero and Rockband that are taking the licensed music addition to a whole new level.

It is down to this fact that I have added a new section to the PAL PlayStation Collective and that being Music CD’s. And to start it off I have already added two CD’s.

I have also added a 3rd Party Software section. This is largely due to the interest in the screensavers and music programs I talked about a few weeks ago, and those mentioned will be added but for now I have added two other 3rd party releases, but don’t panic they are only cheat systems.

On the other news front I have managed to already pick off 3 targets in my quest for the end of my collection, as soon as they arrive I will throw up pictures to show everyone. I have also photographed all the other stuff waiting to be added to the site so soon there will be a few more wheels, memory cards, controllers and various other stuff added.
