Plug Your Phone Into My Coffee Cup?
If you"re like me, you"ve at some point wondered why nobody thought to include "standard" electrical outlets in your car. The bad news is that there"s no solid answer to this question. The good news is that someone out there with more technical knowledge (and motivation) has decided to do something about it.

Calling it the Coffee Cup Inverter, this conveniently shaped power source coverts your car"s DC power into two 120-volt AC outlets just like on your walls at home.
Perhaps even more clever is the fact that it"s shaped just a like a cup of java from your favorite drive-thru .........

75 reasons why the Android platform is about to sweep the world
For the past few months I’ve been living with a selection of Android handsets, different makes, models and network owners. The HTC Hero, The T-Mobile Pulse, the HTC Magic and from my experience of this new computing platform I’m going to predict that Android is destined to be the biggest thing to hit computing since Windows hit the PC. Yes it’s that .........

Increase Website Traffic through Pay Per Click
Pay Per Click or PPC is a web marketing strategy in which a particular product or service is advertised in relevant websites or directly on search engines. PPC is a comparatively cheap means of promoting one's business since the advertiser pays only when visitors click on the .........

Eric Red
1996"s Bad Moon was the last film helmed by cult genre filmmaker Eric Red (director of Body Parts and Cohen and Tate, screenwriter of Near Dark and The Hitcher) before most had heard about the strange and tragic troubles he encountered earlier this decade. Premiering last year on the SyFy channel, 100 Feet marks Red"s return to the .........

EOS 1D mkIV hands on
TrustedReviews have been very crafty and have managed to get themselves a little bit of hands on time with Canon"s next big hitter; the EOS 1D mk IV. If I"m honest it"s just what I expected: it"s a bloody fantastic camera with a pricetag to match. Featuring lots of technology passed down from the 5D, this 1.2kg beast is set to set the photojournalism world on fire providing the pricing comes in at the right level of .........

SBA1700 uber-sleek portable speakers
Philips has unveiled its latest portable speakers for the Korean market - the SBA1700. And they are back with the disc-shaped profile, perhaps to please the purists. The speakers show-off an elegant silver finish and weigh a mere 0.3 kg - almost resembling a giant pocket watch, if only much sleeker. They are plug-and-play and connect to an audio source via a 3.5mm stereo connector with the promise of a 20-hour long playtime (3 AAA batteries, 1.5V). Then there is the trademark simplicity of design - the connector cable can be neatly hidden within the back-case when not in use and the speaker .........

Google Wave Add-on For Firefox
I’ve been playing around with Google Wave for a few days now, and it’s definitely a fascinating piece of technology. The idea is to drag email and text communications into the 21st century by restructuring the way we chat with each other. .........

Microsoft Office Lashes Back at Google
© Stephen Edgar - Netweb
I have almost entirely become a Google Docs User; it is simple, cheap (free), and gets the job done 99% of the time. There are times, mostly when dealing with spreadsheets and numbers, that I have to use Microsoft Office. To be frank, I don"t like doing it at all. Microsoft Office represents such bloat on my 80 GB SSD drive, that I resent using it. I would love it if someone would come along and give me a true lightweight and powerful Office .........

Fitbit Keeps You Honest About Fitness
According to the website, Fitbit uses 3D motion sensor technology similar to the Nintendo Wii to track movement in three dimensions creating an accurate report on your daily exercise activities. The collected data is collected every time you walk by the wireless base included in the setup. .........

Chloe Intense EDP
The sleek, gray bow-tie on the new Chloe Intense EDP signals that this is a different scent from the original Chole - more serious, focused and sleek.

I loved scent as much as I loved the Chloe bottle. The clear rectangle shape and ribbed detail (which reminds me a little of a beautifully tailored French suit with pin stripes), with the shiny silver just scream chic/modern to me. Indeed, the new version of Chloe is a very modern and unique interpretation of the rose.

On my skin I immediately got a burst of the crisp rose along with the pink pepper, which together made for a .........

True Blood in the Fridge.....Weekend is Set.
I am so obsessed with this show that I don"t know what I"m going to do with myself once the season ends.

The financial meltdown and tell-tale emails
Should UBS be held accountable for selling toxic collateralised debt obligations? The Wall Street Journal reports that UBS staff knew these debt securities were bad and sent off emails making that point quite clear. "OK still have this vomit?" one email said. Another email was just as pithy, saying they had sold "more crap".

As Reuters .........

TV Everywhere to enter Trial stage
Time Warner's TV Everywhere service is one which has been talked about for a long time; the prospect of lots of shows and movies, on demand, regardless of where you are, is most definitely a good one. However, only how have they begun to announce that the service is coming into play, with 5000 lucky customers selected to test it out. Unfortunatly no other details have surfaced. .........

Working From Home? Consider This.....
Bootstraping often means working from home. If you decide to take the path, there are some specific questions you need to .........

Reaching the Next Generation
Blogtrepreneur had a good piece recently on focusing your marketing plans to reach the next generation.Marketers who do not pay attention to the buying habits and general activities of the teenager of today do so at their peril. Teenagers may not have the buying power necessary to cause marketers to salivate, but they represent the adults of tomorrow and some of the amazing trends that are emerging from the world of the .........

Arlenis, Chanel, Jourdan, Sessilee by Emma Summerton
s: TFS
I love this cover and wonder if this was the shoot Chanel Iman twittered about awhile back. They look like Robert Palmer girls sans instruments.
What struck me about the image at first was that their skin wasn"t bleached out with lighting effects. I think the bright makeup and background color are all the contrast that was needed.
What say .........

Tarina Tarantino Party!
If you’re in New York City this Saturday & don’t have any plans… now you do! Tarina Tarantino is in town from her home of magical Los Angeles, & she’s holding a special event at her Soho store to celebrate the launch of her new collection & book! (It goes without saying that both the collection & the book are .........

Economists predict recession ends this year. As if!
So economists are predicting the recession will end this year. They reckon the housing market will bottom out and they don't see the recession lasting longer than the first quarter of 2010. Still, they're hedging their bets, saying the recovery will be slow and painful.

It's hard to believe them given how wrong they've been so far.

A prime example is housing prices. The

Chicago Fashion
Je vous present the Spring issue of Chicago Fashion.

Pages 28/29: Interview with designer Soo Choi about her closet.  If one must tell the story of a person through their stuff, having a subject as forthcoming and reflechi as Soo is what you long for.

Pages 14/15: Short items on jewelry designer Temple St. Claire, perilously high heels, and the similarities between today"s runway and the styles of the 1930s.

Pages 30/31: Interview with the fabulous Graham Thompson of Optimo Hats (who recently designed the hats for Public Enemies).  I had so much fun poking .........
