The country’s bid, 28-year old Robby farewell last Saturday’s Performance Night, who got into the bottom three with Sue and Daryl. During the July 6 Eliminations, Idol host Raymond Gutierrez called off the contestants one by one and summarized the judges’ comments from the night before. Those who got positive remarks were Toffer (”Superb” for Ogie Alcasid), Ram (”Better and better every week” according to Wyngard Tracy), and Penelope (”Siya ang Pinoy Idol,” for Jolina Magdangal).

As usual, there were those who either didn’t deliver as expected, or had varying comments from the judges. Among them were Jayann, Daryl, Gretchen, Sue, Warren, Kid, and Robby.

Daryl, Sue, and Robby were those who got the lowest text votes for the week, and were thus included in the bottom group.

Robby imparted that everything he experienced in the competition was a blessing. “I want to be remembered for my music–that it comes from the heart.”

The nine remaining contestants are: Penelope, Jayann Bautista, Gretchen Espina, Sue Ellen, Ram Chaves, Kid Camaya, Daryl Celis, Warren Antig, and Toffer Rei.

Reuters LOS ANGELES - Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman gave birth on Monday to her first biological child, a daughter named Sunday, fathered by her husband and country music star, Keith Urban.

“Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban,” the New Zealand-born, Australian-bred Grammy winner announced on his Web site.

“We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with you today,” Urban said.

A statement issued later in the day by Kidman’s New York-based publicist said the infant was delivered in the United States and weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces (2.93 kg) at birth.

“Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well,” the spokesman, Allen Eichhorn, said.

Kidman, 41, who was born in Hawaii but raised in Australia, married Urban, 40, in Sydney in June 2006. The following October he checked into the Betty Ford Clinic for a three-month stint in rehab for substance abuse.

The actress announced she was pregnant with their first child in January 2008 and was withdrawing from what would have been her latest film, “The Reader.”

Kidman and former spouse Tom Cruise adopted two children during nearly 10 years of marriage that ended in divorce in 2001. She had been pregnant once before with Cruise but suffered a miscarriage.

Kidman and Urban, both Australian citizens, met in January 2005 at an awards dinner held by the Australian government in Los Angeles honoring the two of them.

She won an Oscar as best actress for her role as the novelist Virginia Woolf in 2002 drama “The Hours.” Her next film, Baz Luhrmann’s big-budget epic “Australia,” in which she plays an English aristocrat, is due for release later this year.

3. Isabelle Daza - Isabelle Daza is linked to showbiz through her mother Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969. She also the current face of the clothing brand Human. “Her take on putting together her clothes is very fresh, very age-appropriate—wearing short shorts na hindi naman lahat sa atin nakakasuot,” said Magazine Editor.

4. Katrina Lobregat - From celebrity figures, the next Best Dressed is a lady whose work is closely related to fashion. Katrina Lobregat is a fashion buyer for Rustan’s Department Store’s Resortwear, Ladies Imported Shoes and Bags, and soon, Children’s High Street. “Her usual style, she’s likes going to beach kasi and likes water sports so she’s really, really, very resort, very laid back na glamour.” said Magazine editor.

5. Ria Bolivar - Ria Bolivar is somehow different from the other Best Dressed personalities this year. While almost everyone likes to wear designer or branded clothes, this 24-year-old morena model candidly admits that she goes thrift-shopping.

6. Solenn Heuseff - Like Katrina, this half-French, half-Filipina confessed that fashion is virtually in her blood. Both her grandmothers were sewers and pattern makers during their time. This could have inspired the 23-year-old model/make-up artist to also try designing. Solenn has already modeled for international brands like Christian Dior in Paris.

7. Mai Kauffman - Last year, TV Patrol entertainment reporter Marie Lozano, who was pregnant at that time, made it to the 2007 Preview Best Dressed. Now, it’s Mai Kauffmann, who is an interior designer by profession, but also designs her own line of quirky bags called Goddess. She is also a co-owner of a mid-century antiques and furniture shop called KARMA (Kauffman Auction Retro Modern Antiques). The Magazine Editor was amazed at how these pregnant women continue to be fashionistas.

8. Crystal Osamis - Aside from models, Preview also picked an aspiring designer, Crystal Osamis, to be included in this year’s Best Dressed. According to the Magazine Editor, Crystal is slowly making a name in the fashion industry. “She’s been hitting the bazaars lately, trying to sell the stuff that she makes for herself because other people are like, ‘Ang ganda niyan, a. Sino ang gumawa?’”

9. Joyce Oreña - The next Best Dressed is a well-known fashionista who has gained popularity by wearing her personally designed jewelry. She sells some of her designs in her own accessories boutique, JÔ, located at the the Greenbelt 3 in Makati.

10. Anna Angara - Last but definitely not least is Anna Angara, a 37-year-old interior designer. This lady follows a certain discipline when it comes to fashion. Preview said, “She’ll always opt for quality pieces regardless of price point. Secondly, she won’t wear anything less than becoming—just for the sake of fashion.”

Last June 29, actress-singer Danica Sotto born her first baby from husband Marc Pingris and named Jean-Michele. Danica went through a caesarean operation for the baby is a bit bigger than normal. According to Danica when interviewed in Startalk at the Asian Hospital, “Isa rin sa mga factor kung bakit ako na-caesarean, yung baby ko, masyado siyang mataas, hindi bumababa. ‘Tapos yung cervix ko nga, close pa, hindi na aabot sa labor. Pinoy Dream Academy Scholar Jet Singh was asked by Headmaster Ryan Cayabyab for his decision whether to stay or drop out on 3rd Probation Night. Jet chose to drop out for he misses his family specially his newborn son. After he packed his belongings, Jet finally said goodbye to his fellow scholars. He was then brought to his house in Binangonan, Rizal where his fiance, Shane and his son Ran Calev was waiting.

The three on Probation scholars where saved because of Jet’s decision. The 4 3rd Probationary Scholars where Laarni with 6.73 grade, Cris with 6.77 grade, Bea with 6.40 grade, and the lowest was Jet with 5.57 grade.

Filipino American musician, singer, actor with musical influences from R&B, Pop, and Soul and host of ABS-CBN’s ASAP 08 and Pinoy Dream Academy Season 2, Billy Crawford denied that he is the newfound love of ex-girlfriend of actor Jericho Rosales. However, he admintted that he has been going out with Evangelista but just as friends and they are not dating. Crawford also admitted that he is single and still looking for his special someone who could understand the nature of his work.
