Another typhoon is coming to Philippines. It’s already signal no. 2 here in Manila, although I can still see the sun in the sky. Expect a sudden change in weather condition after 24 hours if PAGASA’s weather forecast happens.
According to PAGASA weather bulletin issued at 11:00am today, typhoon Santi continues to threaten the Aurora-Quezon area.
It has a maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph and moves west at 22 kph.

So, little boy Johnny got a promise from his dad. If he performs well in school this year, gets high grades, he will be awarded an increase in allowance next year.
So little boy Johnny believed his dad. He studied well. Forgets playing with other kids just to have good grades. After a year of studying hard, he got good grades. He expected so much of the increase in allowance. He was so excited. After all, he worked hard to get those grades to have an increase.
Then, dad came. He said,”Very good Johnny! Here’s my promise to you. You now get a 1-peso increase in allowance for this year! Congratulations!”
WTF. Right? Yeah, really. WTF. Juice mommy.

We were supposed to start the SkyBroadband free trial last October 16. But they called last October 15 and rescheduled the installation on October 22. Yesterday, they came and installed it. We paid the Php1000 deposit and submitted a photocopy of my SSS ID. According to them, they will call us on the 11th day for them to know if we will continue with the subscription.
Speed test yesterday at around 3:00PM showed 0.99Mb/s download and 0.45Mb/s upload speed.
If you lost your CD device drivers that comes with your new computer after you purchased it, you might have a problem in the future. You can’t just reformat your drives, reinstall Windows and everything will work out fine. You need all the device drivers for it to work properly.
So, what do you do if you lost the device drivers already? There are 2 things you can do. One is to google all the drivers, download them and keep it safe. This takes time and a lot of downloads.
Another thing is to use Driver Magician Lite. Driver Magician Lite is a free software that will automatically search your drives for all the device drivers installed in your PC and back them up in a directory you chose.
You only need to download the Driver Magician Lite, which is only 1.55MB. Installation is fast and backing up of all the drivers only takes a couple of minutes. All the drivers you need will be available when you upgrade/reformat your PC in the future.
I can’t remember the last time I voted. I was not able to vote during the 2004 election because I was in Kuwait that time. I was not sure if I can still vote this coming election. Well, thanks to Comelec’s online verification, I found out that my record is still active and I don’t need to reregister.
So, how do you verify your Comelec Registration? Simply go to Comelec’s Registration Verification page. Encode your Firstname, Middlename, Lastname and Birthdate, click Find Now and it will tell you your registration details. Registration details include Province, City/Municipality, Barangay, Precinct No., Status and Biometrics Info.
If you are not yet registered or your registration is inactive, you still have until October 31 to register. Registration is available even this coming Sunday for provinces affected by recent calamities.
I am using Smart Bro Plan 999 for more than a year now. I am a satisfied customer but after typhoon Ondoy, things changed. Speed is not the same anymore. We already contacted Smart Bro, they already changed our antenna but still, they can’t bring back the same speed that we are enjoying before.
So, I’ve decided that it’s time to switch. But to whom? By googling, I found out that SkyBroadband is offering a free 15-day trial. I called their hotline number (6310000) immediately and inquired about it. After talking to their customer service representative, I’ve decided to avail of the trial for Plan 1 mbps.
Here are some information you need to know about their 15-day free trial:
It’s not totally free in the sense that you need to have Php1000 in cash as a deposit for the modem they will install. But it is refundable after the trial if you decided not to continue your subscription. So, it’s free, but you must have a Php1000 cash at hand initially. You’ll get it back anyway. This is true if you are not a Sky Cable subscriber just like me.
If you plan to continue your subscription after the 15-day free trial, you’ll be in 1-year lock-in period. Pre-termination fee is P2000.
You must submit a valid ID and proof of billing.
So, how do you apply? You apply over the phone at 6310000. They will schedule the installation immediately. Not as fast as I think, though. I called today and they scheduled the installation on October 16. Almost 1 week waiting period. Required documents and P1000 will be collected during the installation.
Having a free 15-day trial is a good offer. They give us enough time to decide if they are really a better alternative.
I’ll blog about my experience with Sky Broadband in the future. Will I switch with them after the trial? Abangan.
Since I’m currently hooked on this new Facebook game, I decided to blog about more of it so as not to have my playtime go to waste. At least, I don’t feel guilty playing it since I’m doing some research on what to blog about. Hehe.
1. Plan ahead. Always plan ahead on when are you going to go online again. If you plan to go online after 2 days, then cook foods that take 2 days to complete. So that when you go online, you have freshly cooked foods waiting to be served.
2. Your cook doesn’t need direct access to the counter. When the food is cooked, it will be brought to the counter magically when you click the oven.
3. You can close your cafe by removing the door. Close your cafe if you run out of foods.
4. You can earn more cafe coins if you visit your neighbors regularly and eat their foods.
5. You can earn more experience points if you cook foods that have long cooking times.
6. You can have two doors if you want.
7. The longer you cook the food, the longer it takes for it to spoil.
8. Highest Buzz rating is 105. The higher the Buzz rating, the more customers will enter you cafe, the more dishes you need to serve, the more coins you earn.
9. Buzz rating freezes when you go offline. Buzz rating goes up for every satisfied customer and goes down for customers who were not served properly.
Ok, let’s discuss some cheats.
1. Trap your waiters in one corner so that they can’t reach the tables. The foods will magically be served to your customer as soon as they sit. No more waiting time!
2. Unlimited stove and counters. This can be done using another software called Cheat Engine. Refer to this blog post for the detailed video procedure.

Cafe World is a new restaurant game on Facebook. My first impression when I first saw my wife playing it? It looks exactly like Restaurant City. Why bother playing another restaurant game?
Though hesitant, I also tried playing it and got hooked in the process. After playing it for a while, I can say that it is not the same as Restaurant City. Here are the differences I observed:
Employees never get tired on Cafe World. As long as there is food in the counter, they will continue serving at the same speed. You don’t need to feed your employees. On the other hand, Restaurant City employees’ health must be constantly monitored. Employees get tired as time goes by and must be fed from time to time.
Foods on Restaurant City never run out. You just select the menu and the cook will continue cooking it as long as they live. On the other hand, foods on Cafe World are counted. If you run out of foods, you will not earn anymore even if you left your restaurant open. Each recipe on Cafe World have cooking duration which you have to monitor because your food will get spoiled / overcooked if it exceeds the duration on the stove.
There’s a food counter on Cafe World where the cooked food are placed. On Restaurant City, the foods are served immediately to the table.
Unlike Restaurant City, there’s no trading of ingredients on Cafe World. New recipes are unlocked everytime you level up.
