The Z10 and Brotherly Love
Continuing our MOTO Z10 smartphone coverage, Motorola have been holding a competition to see who can create the best video entirely ON the phone itself - i.e. all shots and editing on the Z10. And here's the winner - the Z10's video quality isn't the best, but the editing software's certainly up the job, it seems. (via IM)

Personal Information Management in the MOTO Z10
Ewan continues looking at the UIQ 3-powered Motorola MOTO Z10, and in part two of his review takes the PIM Suite apps out for a test. See also part 1 of the review. Future review parts will cover wider applications, music and camera.
"The Z10 relies a lot on the regular UIQ3 suite of applications, and no more so than in the Personal Information Management (PIM) apps. That shouldn't mean we skip looking at them, because not everyone buying this phone will have a history of UIQ devices. I'd wager most Z10 owners will be completely new to UIQ and Symbian, so let's take a closer look."

Bungie Day Halo 3 freebies arrive
Bungie is celebrating itself today and offering you a bag of Halo 3 goodies for absolutely free.

Top of the pile is the new Cold Storage map, which is a remake of Chill Out from Halo 1. Plus you can also grab the Legendary Map Pack for a little less money at 600 Microsoft Points (GBP 5 / EUR 7) .

You'll need to have those if you want to join the Cold Storage online playlists, by the way, which will be rotated from today.

Bungie is offering an Xbox 360 theme as well as a bundle of Gamerpics, too. These will only be available today, so you had better get moving.

Can you get other maps into Go!Explore?
Hi DCEmu people.
Yesterday i read that someone has successfully got other maps (FBL files) to work in Go!Explore.
Is it possible? Can you get other FBL files to work in Go!Explore, is the License file (.LIC) hacked?

Best Regards
Thomas Jespersen

But I tried to change my Avatar to my original Sonic one, it ended up with this:

I also tried different pictures (all under 100x100), and even tried uploading pics to photobucket, and came up with this every time.

Now Im Avatar-less.

Trapped in Mobile Hell - A Warning For Entrepreneurs
Why is the mobile platform not being innovated on as heavily as the web? It's been bothering Ewan MacLeod over at SMSTextNews - and when I say bothered I mean full on ranting on the mobile scene, VC's, entrepreneurs and networks and the consistently closed world. Well worth reading this one over a nice cup of coffee and a digestive biscuit.
It’s been said — by someone, I can’t recall — that being an entrepreneur is about being naieve, i.e. If you actually knew how difficult it might be, you wouldn’t bother. Most of us don’t. But now and again, a chap or chappess wakes up one morning, sticks a door horizontal on a pile of bricks in his garage and sets up Amazon. And thank the Capitalist Dieties that he or she does. The world thrives on innovation. Without innovation we’d still be trying to get those square wheels to work. Almost every industry you can name thrives on innovation too. Everyone benefits. It’s nigh on exactly as dependable as the laws of physics.
But — and this, I know, a sweeping statement — generally, most innovation in mobile never actually gets past the starting block. Because it’s a closed world.
More on being trapped in Mobile Hell at SMSTextNews.

I regret to inform you your PSP just crashed
Finally got stuck at a blue screen and the characters are blurred out (Mostly)

I regret to inform you your PSP has just crashed

Exception Details
Exception Bus Error Data
EPC A
Cause C
Status
BadVAddr A
zr at FF AB F v AB

The offending routine may be identified with
-------psp-addr--line-e-target elf -f -C x a x a x a =fac

The error message is incomplete and I'm not sure what to do here.

I'm running 3.90 m33 w/ 1.50 Kernel add-on v2...everything except 1.50-specific Homebrew is stable (ISOs/CSOs/Movies/ETC)

Currently I'm just trying to play Duke Nukem 3D and a nifty PSP PDA thing.

Kinda disappointing since all the badass homebrew is 1.50 only (Why is that?)

Also, is this message "I regret to blah blah" the actual kernel telling me this? Kind of like the Windows BSOD because I got it with both Duke Nukem and the PDA app

I am using a black Nintedno DS lite and I get my roms from nds-roms and romulation
