[Breaking News] Yao Out For The Season Due To Stress Fracture
Just when everything was clicking for the Rockets, all of a sudden, a tragic loss to the team.. Bad News for the Houston Rockets. They were on their quest to win 13th straight, but without Yao, I don't think they'll be able to pull off their 13th win. Yao averaged 22 and 10 plus boards.
Everyone thought that Houston was going to win this season's playoffs by looking at the way they were going but with out Yao, that will be an awfully hard task to accomplish. They might not even get passed the first round of the playoffs.
Furthermore, Yao will be out for the Post Season as well for next season.
This will open opportunities for the role players like Scola, Landry, etc. to step up and show what they're worth and also gain vital experience that will help them succeed better for next season. I'm sorry to say but now the Rockets have no chance of even passing the second round of this season's playoffs.
The Lastest With McGrady and the Rockets
Tracy McGrady recently stated that he needs to work extra hard to match up with his teammates skills and talent. He realizes that he is getting old and others are getting ahead which many say is the factor that caused him to sit out in this years NBA All-Star Game. But it can be debated that T-Mac does not need to put in extra effort in order for his team to succeed this season due to role players knocking down big shots, and Yao doing his thing each night. Besides Tracy McGrady's scoring average, the fans have to look at his assists column. He is currently averaging well above 8 assists per game and most them for Yao. Tracy McGrady is a veteran, he knows what he has to do win ball games, he knows when to shoot, when to pass, and when to take over the game. He's should have been an All-Star this season.
On the other hand, the Rockets are on a roll on their 11th game winning streak. They look to make it 12 games tonight as they face the Chicago Bulls tonight on ESPN around 7 PM.
Jason Kidd is Worth as Much as LeBron James!
Jason Kidd, finally got traded from the Nets. Vince Carter and Richard Jefferson are old and have lost their explosiveness due to old age and injuries. Dirk is the happiest man alive right now in the NBA and I bet the rest of the Mavs players are as well because Kidd is a pass first player. Even if Kidd is open he would pass the ball up for a three or an impossible highlight dunk. Also, with Kidd playing alongside Dirk Nowitizki not only will Kidd's assists go up but also Dirk's shooting average because Jason Terry did not set up Dirk enough but instead he jacked up his own shots.
The Mavericks now have a shot at the championship this season...easily.

Other than that, Mark Cuban did the stupidest thing he could in his life by trading Nash.

Like Avery Johnson knows what he's talking about...Since Cuban fired Don Nelson, Avery has never been able to take the Mavericks as far as Nelson ever did. But instead Dirks numbers went down, Howard's numbers went down....Another stupid decision by Mark Cuban was when he fired Don Nelson. Not to mention the fact that Nelson, being the lowest seed in last year's playoffs knocked out the #1 seed Mavericks and Avery Johnson, which was awfully embarrassing for Cuban.
Kidd is 34 years old and nearly averages a tripple-double each night...11.3 points, 10.4 assists, and 8.1 rebounds. The dude is a total package and worth as much as LeBron James, believe it or not!
Before his injury, he averaged 13.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists....Kings should have kept him as he was doing very well playing alongside Martin and Garcia. They were hard to beat.
Although, Bibby will do just fine and even better by raising his numbers in assists because the Hawks have some high flyers and players who can shoot the ball. He will bring veteran leadership and take the Hawks far in this season's playoffs. Nuff said.
Dwight Howard's Superman Dunk Not An Offical Dunk!
The Superman Dunk which Dwight Howard came up with, is not offically a dunk. His hands do not touch the rim. Instead he jumps as high as he could and then throws the basketball in the basket with the impression of Superman throwing a rock. But not an offical dunk although it counted and he got the points for it. Watch closely.

Report: Suns, Heat Swap O'Neal for Shawn Marion! Before I go on, Shaquille O'Neal should of retired when he earned his last championship with the Miami Heats...He's old, fat, and most importantly he can't shoot a free-throw for his life and the one thing he did, isn't there anymore...his ability to dunk at his will.
To be straight to the point: Marion is getting traded to the Miami Heats for Shaq.
Is Marion better off staying with the Suns? Of course!
Why does Marion want to get traded even though he's with one of the top 5 best teams in the league currently? Fame...does he want more reputation playing alongside Wade? or just tired of playing for the Suns? Only Marion knows...
Overall, Shawn Marion could have avoided this trade as the Pheonix Suns desperately wanted him to stay but he opened his heart and wanted out. Now Marion is going off to the Heat's who have almost the worse record in the NBA this season. There is no way they're are going to win a championship this season or maybe even the next 5 years because a new chemistry is in the making...On the other hand, if Marion stayed with the Suns, he probably could have gotten a championship ring this season! Sun's coach D'Antoni does not want Marion to leave the Pheonix Suns because if he leaves there will be a missing piece in the almost balanced chemistry the Pheonix Suns have this season.

He has the an All-Star team! Nash, Staudemire, Barbosa, Bell, himself...They have a legitmate shot at the championship if they keep playing like the way their playing right now! If he gets traded to the Miami Heats who have the second worse record in the NBA this season, it would be a disaster for him...no other NBA player would even think about getting traded to the Heats this season. Then why does he still want to be traded? If he goes else where, it's not like it's going to do him any good. More than half of the Veterans in the NBA dream to be on teams like, Pheonix Suns, Mavericks, Spurs etc. so they can have a shot for the medal. What in the world is Marion thinking? Is he mad because he didn't get selected for the NBA All-Star team this season? Or does he want to get traded to a sorry team to get his numbers up, even though they're already All-Star caliber averages (points, rebounds, assists.) Marion is averaging well over 20 points per game and almost 10 rebound per night. He should have been on the All-Star squad this season. There is no reason why he should feel that he needs to get traded to a better team, because he won't find a better one!

Pau Gasol Stars in Lakers Debut
Pau Gasol scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Nothing much else to say about the Lakers...although there won't be any reason for Kobe to now take more than 20 shots per game. He's going to have to change up his game like T-Mac's and become more of a distributor or a role player some nights and the star in some. Lakers now have a very good chance of getting a championship this season, especially when Bynum comes back, the team will be the total package. Kobe is probably feeling happy for the first time since Shaq was traded...Kobe showed Gasol his love for his teammate by dishing out 8 assists and only scoring 6 points in the contest as the Lakers rolled over the New Jersey Nets. I see a change in Kobe, do you?
