Hot, sweet and sexy tv show host-actress Valerie Concepcion has new projects with ABS-CBN Network now. Her tv hosting contract with Willie Revillame's daily noontime show "Wowowee" just renewed by ABS-CBN. Thus, she'll continue to entertain the Wowowee fans all over the world. Concepcion is also doing a different routine as a comedian. She is the leading lady of Vhong Navarro in his latest movie "Supah Papalicious" with child singer-actor Makisig Morales. Her first solo endorsement just launched also this month. "Slenda" a capsule for weight loss.
Concepcion was surprise too by reports that she is one of the candidates to play the lead role in the upcoming ABS-CBN's television series "Betty La Fea". She told entertainment press that she is flattered for the reports being considered to play the role and hopes it will push through. Among the actresses being considered for the role are "Lobo” star Angel Locsin, "Maging Sino Ka Man” actresses Bea Alonzo and Anne Curtis, and singer Regine Velasquez was also considered for the series.

Kimberly Kate L. Guevarra or simply known as Eb Babe Kim was confirmed pregnant although the full story about her pregnancy has not been told yet. Kim was born on June 18, 1987 in Angeles City, Philppines. Rumor says that Tristan Encarnacion, the celebrity chef is father of the unborn child. Kim is three months pregnant.

Filipino singer, actress, record producer, designer and TV host -Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez has been with GMA-7 for the longest time. Aside from SOP, she hosted Search For A Star, which later became Pinoy Pop Superstar, and Celebrity Duets with boyfriend Ogie Alcasid. She also starred in a soap opera titled Forever in My Heart opposite Richard Gomez and Ariel Rivera. Now rumor has it that she is planning in moving to the GMA-7 rival Television Network, ABS-CBN Channel 2.

She has accepted a new project in ABS-CBN through Maalaala Mo Kaya. It can be recalled that Regine's first appearance on MMK in 2002 with Piolo Pascual in an episode titled "Lobo," for her portrayal of a mentally challenged woman and won a Best Actress trophy from Star Awards for TV.

She embarked on several television and film projects that's why according to PEP, ...Asia's Songbird is more likely to accept the offer from ABS-CBN. Regine could not possibly turn it down because she was told that "sky is the limit."

But GMA-7 is reportedly not giving up on Regine. According to some insiders from the Kapuso network, GMA-7 executives are pulling all strings to persuade the Asia's Songbird to stay.

ABS-CBN's talent young star gave birth to a baby boy last February 8, 2007 courtesy of a teen actor boyfriend Gian Carlos -one of the Final Four of StarStruck Batch 3 where he finished behind Marky Cielo for the title of Ultimate StarStruck Male Survivor. Ciara Sotto is almost a year in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She is preparing for her postponed stage show there. The show was supposed to be October last year but was postponed because of some renovations on the venue. Now they're just waiting for it to open to start their show.

While in Las Vegas, she met the international singer and composer David Pomeranz who talked about doing concerts with her in Vegas while waiting for the show to open. Aside from having a show with Pomeranz, David told her too that he will be giving some of his songs to Ciara. David Pomeranz said that he got some songs that would fit with the voice of Ciara to record.

The Philippines' veteran ballader Jose Mari Chan will have a new cd to be realeased in the country and a valentine show but he is more happy when Janis Siegel -a member of the American vocal group "The Manhattan Transfer" emailed him and their is a possibility for the revival of his songs in U.S. "She emailed me and said you know, one good idea would be maybe to have American singers sing your songs. She felt that they were good enough for American singers." Chan explained.

The Manhattan Transfer first group was established in New York City in 1969, disbanded after a producing a single album, Jukin' (1971). The second line-up was set up in 1972 and is still together as of 2007 (members are Cheryl Bentyne, Tim Hauser, Janis Siegel and Alan Paul). It is famous for mixing jazz, big band, and popular music styles.

Julia Fordham, Rex Smith and David Pomeranz are in the Philippines to do their concerts respectively. Julia Fordham was born on August 10, 1962, Portsmouth, England is a singer-songwriter based in California. Her professional career started in the early 1980s, under the name "Jules Fordham", as a backing singer for the likes of Mari Wilson and Kim Wilde.

Rex Smith was born on September 19, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida is an American actor and singer. hit single from the television movie Sooner or Later, entitled "You Take My Breath Away". Most of his favorite song are "Simply Jessie", "Let's Make a memory" and "You take my breath away".

A restraining order against the man who's been at Britney Spears' side during her downward spiral alleges that he drugged her, took over her finances and controlled the ravenous paparazzi "like a general." Lynne Spears -mother of Britney claimed Sam Lutfi, 33, drugged her daughter, cut off her phone lines and called her an "unfit mother". In a six-page declaration, she said Mr Lutfi "moved into Britney's home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances".

In a section of the order detailing previous harassment, Lynne Spears says Lutfi "drugged Britney, he has cut Britney's home phone lines and removed her cell phone chargers. He yells at her. He claims to control everything -- Britney's business manager, her attorneys and the security guards at the gate."

The restraining order bans Mr Lutfi from contacting Ms Spears in any way. He must stay away from the singer, her homes, her parents and siblings' homes and the hospital where she is undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
