New Words
Its very interesting to me that with language new words are created and used constantly by the average person, and eventually, with the rise of the words' popularity, it is possible for that word to become accepted into the language.
While at work, one of my co-workers sent out an email using slang, and my response was to create my own slang.
I came up with the word "krawish".
It implies what it sounds like, but spelled differently, with an added conotation that perhaps the person is somewhat of a pussy or weak or effeminate.
Here is an example of the use of the word:
"Relax krawfish, there is no need to cry about it, gosh what a krawfish!"
The official definition: A person who lacks confidence and acts with an ambiguous sexual persuasion, and who also does creepy things like sending photos of himself to people at random to other men or women.
I will attempt to add this word to Wikipedia today.
Paper Transformer
Here is a cool stumble! onto a website called Metacafe {check them out) and a video post of an amazing paper transformer easy to make!

My next stumble! took me here to a blog displaying this spectacular art by "Chewie"
Pen Spinning
I'm beginning to realize that most of my favorite stumble! upon discoveries are from a variety of blog posts...but I guess if I can put together all of my favorites, it will save someone the time of searching the net to find out about this stuff...anyways, here is something I would have never thought of as a competitive sport: pen spinning. I stumbled upon the video here on www.wewish.org, and followed the link to YouTube to post it here. Enjoy!
This is art. Anything that stirs the soul is art. I found this work simple yet so complex.
DaVinci Art with Nails and Hammer
Today the stumble! feature took me to a blog called Bored Night, specifically this post about a man creating art with nails and a hammer. Fascinating.
I used Google to find out that the artists name is Saimir Strati. Check out his website here.
News in 1992 about future Image Comics
I had to add this YouTube video because i saw this online and i must say it took me back to a time when i loved comic books, and several artists stood up to a corporate giant (Marvel Comics) and did their own thing. enjoy.

Cai Guo-Qiang, Head On, 2006
Here was a really surprising and spectacular stumble! that led me to New Shelton Wet/Dry blog, and this article with photos of an exhibit that you have to see to believe.
According to the article, "The wolves were produced in Quanzhou, China, from January to June of 2006. The commissioned local workshop in Cai’s hometown specializes in manufacturing remarkable, life-sized replicas of animals. First, small clay models were created as movement studies, out of which Cai subsequently developed Head On’s artist editions of cast resin wolves. However, the realistic and lifelike 99 wolves that grew out of these models and drawings possess no literal remnants of wolves: they are fabricated from painted sheepskins and stuffed with hay and metal wires, with plastic lending contour to their faces and marbles for eyes."
Studio Qube & Tutorial
This is probably top on my list of most favorite art styles - this anime graphic art that mixes the beauty of illustration and animation so well. One of my most rewarding stumble! experiences was finding Studio Qube:
Originally, the stumble! actually brought me to a free Adobe Photoshop painting tutorial from Studio Qube which you can check out here. I cant wait to try it out myself. Thanks to them for the free lesson!
Cool business card designs * Special Note: Sometimes the stumble! button takes me to a single picture on a page, a website homepage, a community forum, and even other blogs...so I want to make it clear that I do not intend on taking credit for other bloggers' work, but instead, I simply wish to bring these amazing places on the net that I find fascinating together in one place for me to keep coming back to {and hopefully for others to enjoy as well}. I will always link back to the source for you to see for yourself.
A great example of a blog stumble! was this very interesting article from Creativebits.org about business card designs that blew my mind! Check these out and more on their site:
You should really check out the original article with its witty remarks and explanations of these and even more outrageous business cards here.
Basically, this site shares the art and illustration of various artists. Included with the art are links to the official websites so you can go support your favorite artists. Now, the site is chalk full of great artists, so you really have to check them out because I can't possibly fit all of the amazing art on this blog.
This is also where I found the incredible art I used in my blog on the upper right corner (love birds), and here are other favorites of mine from Joy Ang
I could honestly spend all day at graphic exchange and following the artist links, but here are just a bit more of my favorites so far...http://www.froghatstudios.com/
