Well, i you got alot of empty spaces in your websites then why not convert them into money?  £5.00 a month which translated to £60.00 per year.  Isn’t that enough to cover one year hosting fees of your website?

Do submit pages that is easily located under your website menu.

Do submit pages that have a PR 3 and above, PR4 and higher will have a higher chance of acceptance.

It have been some some weeks since i wrote anything in my blog here. This was due to heavy workload for the pass few weeks.

Well… here’s the story and how it goes……

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole that was behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.

He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

In the house, his mother was looking out the window. She saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could.

Hearing her voice, the little boy became alarmed, and made a U-turn to swim to his mother. It was too late. Just as he reached her, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the mother grabbed her little boy by the arms, just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began a very incredible tug-of-war between the two.

The alligator was much stronger than the mother, but the mother was much too passionate to let go.

A farmer happened to drive by, heard her screams, raced from his truck, took aim, and shot the alligator. Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy Survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. On his arms, there were deep scratches where his mother’s fingernails dug into his flesh; in her effort to hang on to the son she loved.

The newspaper reporter, who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked the boy if he would show him his scars.

The boy lifted his pant legs. Then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, ‘But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Mom wouldn’t let go.’

The Morale

You and I can identify with that little boy.

We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly, and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God ( God here refers to the God of whatever your religion that you belief in) has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He’s been right there, holding on to you.

The Scripture teaches that God loves you.

You are a child of God. He wants to protect you, and provide for you in every way. But, sometimes, we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That is when the tug-of-war begins.

If you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He will not ever let you go.

Never judge other persons scars, because you don’t know how they got them..

This is a true story that I’ve taken from one of the motivational books that I’m reading at this moment. This book is called “See You at the Top” by one of the world most renowned self-help guru named Zig Ziglar. This story was so meaningful that I would like to share it with all of you.

I have to re-write some part of the story so that it’s easier to read and at the same time I can practice my own writing skills. I hope you guys and gals find it resourcefulness.

Well…. Here the story goes…

Some year back, some domestic hogs (a.k.a. pigs in the wild) escaped from captivity and went into a remote area of the mountain. Over a period of time and several generations past, these hogs grew larger and become smarter and wilder until they have become a menace and dangerous to anyone that crossed over their territory.

The local people, tried to do something about it and have send a number of skilled hunters to locate and kill them but these hogs were smart enough to elude the efforts of the best hunters there is.

One day, came into the village was an old man with his small donkey pulling cart. His donkey cart was loaded with some lumber and a substantial amount of grain. The villagers were curious about where the old man was going and what he was going to do. This old man told the villagers that he was going into the mountain where the wild hog habitat is and will come back when he catches some of the hogs. The villager contemptuous laughed at the old man and told him that even the best local hunters can’t catch any of them.

Two months later, the old man came back to the village with some hogs that he trapped in the mountain. The villagers were astonished and asked the old man how he is able to catch them.

So the old man replied:-

“First, thing I done was find the spot where the hogs came out to eat. Then I baited me a trap by putting a little grain right in the middle of the area. These hogs was scared off first at first but curiosity finally got to then and the old lead boar started to sniffing around the free lunch. When he took the first bite, i knew instantly that I’ve already had them.”

“The next day, I put some more grain out and load one plank few feet away. This had spooked them for a while but that free lunch was a powerful appeal so it doesn’t toke them long before they were willing to take a bite at the free lunch again.”

“I repeatedly added the pieces of plank, lumbers and grains over a period of days until I have everything that I needed to build my trap.”

“After that I dug a hole and put up my first corner post. The hogs are smart and every time I added something new they start stayed away but the temptation for free lunch and something for nothing had keep them coming back. Over a period of time, I finally build my trap.”

“The lure of ‘free lunch’ and habit of ‘getting something for nothing without working for it’ had drove them back and right into my trap. When they are in and taking their free lunch, I just sprung the trap door and WALLA! here there are.”

“Actually, it is quite easy after I got them coming for the free lunch.”

Yeppiee yeah yeah!!…. Today the cheque from Nuffnang finally arrived. I requested the payout last month and it took them 1 whole month to process it. Well, It within the time frame that Nuffnang have stipulated in their website. So, they are on time lah.

Today I wanted to share with you a fascinating technique that I learned from the study of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (usually referred to as NLP). NLP is a study of one’s behaviour, thinking and reactions based on the subjective study of language, communication and personal change. So, this article, I will take about ones of the many NLP technique that called NLP Anchoring.

What is an Anchor? My Personal Definition

Is a processing of transferring a specific MOMENT in your life to a certain OBJECT so that you can retrieve back that moment whenever you need.

The MOMENT that I’m referring here is your feeling/experience or emotion. A good example maybe the first day you earned your first salary, kiss your mate, having your first child, completed a job that you considered impossible, the most happiest day, or even the first time you make love.

The OBJECT can be about anything no matter it’s a visual or non-visual. Visual object maybe a tie, wrist band, clapping of hand, a $100 dollar note, books or a tatoo. For non-visual objects it might be a particular song, a phrase, certain smell, certain word or simply a name. So the possibility of objects here are endless.

Everyone been Anchored at least once without knowing.
Do you start feeling down whenever you heard a particular song that remind you of the first time you broke off with your girl friend? If yes, that song is the anchor. The anchor (the song) bring you back to the experience and feeling during the particular time.

Do you feel love and happiness whenever you see your wedding ring? If yes, the wedding ring is the anchor that brings you back to the state of love and happiness.

Do you feel hate and angry whenever you heard the name of a person that cheated/bring harm to you before. If yes, that particular name is the anchor that made you feel angry.

Do you feel proud whenever you see the trophy that you won before? If yes, that trophy is the anchor that bring your emotional to that state of proudness.

What the use of an Anchor?
For me, I think it is an effective ways to motivate and move myself quickly into a positive state. This could be used to get myself into a confident state when I was feeling nervous during a presentation or maybe to get the confidence and motivation to face a hard challenge.

By using NLP anchors can make a great different in your ability to deal with just about any situation in life. The usage of NLP anchor is endless and it helps you to take control your feeling rather letting it control you.

Simple way to create NLP anchor?

Step 1 – Identify the moment of feeling or emotional state that you are anchoring.
Step 2 – When you reach the peak of that state, apply the anchor. It is important to apply the anchor at the peak moment only.
Step 3 - Stop and break the state and return to your normal self.
Step 4 - Test the anchor. When you fire the anchor, make sure you feel the state.
Step 5 - Repeat step 1 to 3 several times to reinforce the anchor that you created. Repeat from time to time until you fully anchored the state.

Example Workout:

Objective: Anchoring your confident moment with your hand clapping
Step 1:
Go to a quite and preferable empty place so that you will not be disturbed like in your room. Close your eyes and start remembering the moment that you are most confident.

Step 2: At the peak of moment, clap your hand 3 times and shout Yes!. Be precise, for a more effective result, please

Step 3: Break the state and return to your normal self.

Step 4: Test the anchor. Firing them by clapping your hand 3 times and should Yes!. See if you start feeling those confident moment or not.

Step 5. Repeat Step 1 to 3 to reinforce the anchor.

Don’t be discouraged when you can’t anchor it for the first few times. Repeat the process until you fully anchored in. Hey! Practice make perfect.

Consideration in NLP Anchor

1. Anchor must be unique so that it can access at will only. You definitely don’t want your anchor to miss fired every now and then without your intention.
2. If a physical object is used as an anchor, make sure it is easily accessible. A good example of object would be a pendant that you wear around you neck.
3. Anchor only strong and intense state/moment.
4. Preferable anchor only positive state.
5. When you firing the anchor, do it correctly for a more intense and strong effects.
6. Spend time to practice your anchoring until you are skillful in this area.
7. Reinforce your anchor often so that it will stay strong.

Who is using NLP Anchoring?

Do you notice Tiger Woods always wore a Red T-shirt during the final round of his golf tournaments? A Source from the net state that the red shirt is linked to his college days at Stanford and a color he believes symbolizes aggression and assertiveness. It is clear that the red shirt is the anchor that gave tiger the aggression and assertiveness during his golf tournament.

Each day I receive tons of non-sense programs in my email box. I think most of you receive the same too!

Have you also seen ridiculous programs promising you hits by submitting your webpage to 5 million websites? They don’t work. You only get your mailbox filled-up with thousands of spam emails. A matter of fact, there are many programs out there about how to get free traffic to your website and they all promise you the moon.

The thing is that some work and a lot DON’T WORK!

How can we know?

I’m just like you; I’ve been through all of that too. I’ve tried them all.

There comes a time when we can’t even know which program to believe. We never know which one is a true one or just hype again! The true problem is that we don’t know who to believe anymore after seeing all that hype everywhere.

But lots of programs really do bring great results. If only you could only have someone telling you which one is worth putting time and energy into, which one works, … don’t you think you would start to get somewhere?

Yesterday was feeling not so fine, but this morning when i wake up it feels better abit. So i went on with my appointment in the morning. After the meeting, when i walk out of my client aircond office, gosh i felt dizzy and a bit of headache too.

I think the panadol that i take yesterday had run out of ammo. The virus is fighthing back real hard now. I was lucky i guess cause my second meeting which scheduled in the afternoon was postponed by the customer. I really grateful to God cause she really know that i can’t take it much longer so she re-arranged the meeting for me. Thanks God.

With the knowing of God on my side, i went to see another different kinda god. Its my old GodFather (”Kai Yeah in contonese”). Not an actual godfather, but i think i can call him that cause he’s the doctor that i always go to since i was very young child. So i drop by his clinic after my lunch.

Doc Teh  as usual, a man of few words but his result speaks pretty well cause 99.99% he can cure me in just consultations. After the short examination and blood pressure checking, i asked “whats wrong docs?” he replied in short, “just catch a cold.”, well thats a short reply as I expected every single time.

Then i leave his consultation room and headed for the dispensary counter. He given me 4 type of tablets for cought, antibiotic, fever and flu.

Huray!… now my antibody got the latest high tech arsenal in combating the virus lioa…   :o)

Gosh!!!… after popping in the pills, i starting to fell sleepy already….

Today the energy level within had been running sky low. Its been quite some months or maybe a year since i’m sick. I think i can safely say that it been a year now since the last time i saw my “Kai Yeh” (the old doctor). I call him old doctor cause he’s really old now.
