Back in Milano

Well that’s it, my holiday in Georgia is over… it was short and sweet. I’m back in Milan, sad, full of doubts and uncertain of the future.

Canon EOS 50D

Canon has launched the much anticipated EOS 50D, an upgraded version of EOS 40D. On the surface it looks almost similar to its predecessor. However, there are quite a few significant improvements; fifteen megapixel CMOS sensor, faster DIGIC 4 processor, 3.0″ VGA LCD monitor with Live View mode offering 3 AF modes, ISO sensitivity expandable to 12800 and an HDMI connection for high Quality Image viewing. It also includes a new Quick Control screen which shows the most commonly used settings and Creative Auto mode for automatic focus and exposure. (more…)

Seduce me

I was there in Monte Carlo for the super car show, this girl was a TV reporter waiting for her crew to get out of the wagon. She was asking to be photographed, I mean look at the way she is posing for me :)

Russian army - Cannibals not soldiers!

The conflict in Georgia appeared to be evolving into a vicious new phase yesterday, with killings, burning and looting by irregular militias coming in behind Russian military columns thrusting from the breakaway province of South Ossetia deep into the country.
George Bush and the Georgian government accused Moscow of breaking the less than 24-hour-old ceasefire, as armed bands of Ossetians, Cossacks and Chechens raided villages around the strategic town of Gori which was taken over by Russian forces in the morning. (more…)

Russia targets journalists

How to hide a war crime? Answer to this question is pretty easy, kill the journalists first!

That’s what we are seeing in Russia - Georgia conflict. There had been numerous reports of Russian air force bombing journalist vehicles, we see snipers taking out reporters. It seems Russia doesn’t want other countries to see brutality of its actions against Georgian people. But it’s not 19 century, people have cameras, people have phones that take videos - world will see the truth.

I put together collection of videos depicting Russian army of criminals doing their nasty job - killing innocent people! (more…)

There is no cease-fire

Yesterday Russian president declared ‘Cease fire’, effective end to the military operations. Despite this, Russian troops are still present on the Georgian soil, outside the conflict regions, terrorizing civilian population - Russia isn’t planning on moving out, or even stopping. We have all signs of full blown occupation and genocide against Georgian people. Cease fire was only announced to deceive western mediators and win some time for Russia to exterminate Georgians, and do as much damage to economy as possible.

CNN Correspondent Matthew Chance reported today: Convoy of Russian armored personnel carriers was moving deeper into Georgia. (more…)

Stop Russia!

Stop Russian Aggression

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out;
I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn’t a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.

Russia continues bobmardment of Georgian capital Tbilisi

Even after Georgia pulled out troops from S. Osetia, Russia continues to bomb Georgian capital Tbilisi. It’s 4:48am Monday 11 August local time - I just heard two strong explosions coming from the civilian block of the city. I cannot confirm anything right now, media is quiet but the sky is red and I can see my neighbors getting out of the houses.

It seems Russian bear is mad and roaring, it will not stop against international will or political pressure… We live in an interesting era, I think we gonna see some values put to test all around the world: we’ll see if U.N. has any function in a modern world, we’ll see if Security council is capable of doing anything when sovereign countries are being annexed by aggressors… we’ll see if international law exists after all… we’ll see if Europe has anything but words to aid Republic of Georgia.
