Isn't it coincidence or what that almost the richest people by far of any previously colonized country are half-whites?

Grace sacrificed her happiness by marrying a PRINCE to make her father proud of her. Details of the marriage in a biography implies subtly that it was a marriage of convenience on both parts.
Furthermore, seeing how her parents' desire for 'pristine image' broke her brother's spirit, he devoted his youth to sculling and winning the championship because of her father's desire to extract revenge on those who looked down on him for being a self-made man, he wasted so much time, his son's life on people who did not even matter or deserve a second glance, and then how her mother broke her son's spirit when he had political aspirations in the last remaining years of his short life, Grace Kelly, herself repeated her parents' type of upbringing on her daughters who she complained were 'rebellious'. Wasn't she rebellious so, in a duplicitous way in her youth?
Her daughters, mercurial creative artistic, with a fiery latin temperament, having those traits are not 'bad' in fact, BUT in fact " a gift for those strong enough to pioneer the road less travelled" and channeled properly and nurtured, it is the 'passionate' people who can MAKE a difference in lives. But Grace Kelly wanted to instill in them the 'image appearances of topmost' priority her parents instilled in her, despite the fact that she herself knew how it gave her and her siblings great pain. She wanted to restrain them, to keep them in line, to obey, and sacrifice like she did, her life for the church, for image, for society. When she should have nurtured their creative spirit and helped them nurture it, nurture the fire and let it sparkle and burn brightly. Instead she wanted to play safe, to do with the Christian image her parents dictated for her, she did to them what her parents did to her and what the church ingrained to her parents society and so forth. So naturally, her daughters, free spirits rebelled. And rebelling or the connotation of that term is not a sin but was designed as a "sin" by the Catholic Church so it might stay in power because it is fearful of losing control, power over the masses and the sad pathetic truth is the only thing it has is : FEAR, as a tool to drum blind obedience of the masses: fear of hell to be exact. So in fact her daughters were blessed with an HONESTY, a true nature, to fight the evils of hypocrisy, the shallow hypocrisies of society which included religion which largely dictates a big bulk of society. Stephanie's face is particularly interesting, she has this touch or naughty twinkle of larceny in her eyes that one can see in her childhood photos and even present day photos, even if she has aged a lot. Caroline looks too rigid, she may have been mercurial in the past, but perhaps her mother's death caused her a lot of guilt and she has spent her life trying to be like her mother, trying to measure up to her standards of how a "PRINCESS" should be and attending to their duties in the 'normal societally acceptable way' it should be done' as their 'mother would have wanted'.
Sadly, not in new adventurous creative ways they could have come up with, had they not been burdened perhaps with the guilt left by their mother's death. To be free from guilt, and free to pursue positive proactive creative new passions, using their positions in highly new innovative pioneer ways.
Sad, that these 2 creative fiery spirits, their creative energies could have been channeled into more new adventurous useful ways. But instead because their mother was raised in the old school of the CHURCH and therefore had such a mindset, they behaved in ways their mother disapproved, and as a result, perhaps a lot of guilt was left by their mother's death.
Particularly Stephanie, who has always insisted on behaving true to her core and putting her in situations not 'royally liked' by shallow society. Which is of course very shallow for the world and society to judge her. Perhaps her mother's death left a heavier burden of guilt on her.
But one thing, although she looks quite old for her age, she still has that fire in her eyes, and she continues to live as she WANTS to be, not as how society dictates her to be, which is good for her.
Caroline on the other hand, looks very rigid, stern, and personally I may say to me she looks kind of embittered and the eyes world-weary. Although aesthetically, she is the more visually appealing one. Stephanie has the charm, and the 'realness' and has successfully kept her 'fire' in her eyes despite living an unconventional life 'deviating from social norms'. Although her face looks tired and battered, Stephanie still has that fire in her eyes, that look twinkle of that touch of larceny so appealing in her childhood photos which she has not lost evidently. The body may be tired but the spirit is very much alive and that is all that matters.
While Caroline has successfully lead a 'societally approved' life duty and guilt-bound perhaps of her mother, it came with a price and Stephanie similarly insisting on being true to herself, paid a high price too for it, in a shallow judgmental hypocritical society concerned with 'appearances'
Being born a princess need not be a noblesse oblige or heavy burden of duty if channeled in a right new creative way using one's fiery spirit. With duty also comes position, power and lots of creative potential roads for happiness to pursue, to be done, which if not curtailed or heavily bound with guilt, a bird will then soar free to pursue its creative spirit without anything iron rails hanging on its back, and will soar to greater new heights compared to its predecessor in new innovative ways, with its new unique gifts and new unique creativity and fire. With power, position and innate talent and intellect, the roads and heights one can soar are LIMITLESS.
A second case study: Princess Diana, somehow she must have subconsciously sensed something awry but she went on ahead, romanticized perhaps as young girls are 'dreaming' to be princesses, society's false pretense that makes the weak public and people lap it up and agree with it, that they have to be "it" in order to be "accomplished" in order to be accepted. The REASON: the public's shallow fascination with princesses, royalty and the staid old fairy tale, and furthermore the UGLIER REASON: social climbing mentality, some people are so drummed up so drowned in colonial mentality's liquor and the feudal fascination with 'princesses' , magnifying their lives in whatever they did, glorifying them as saintly beacons when although in fact, everyone has clay feet.
Diana and Mother Teresa, the image immediately comes to my mind, both lapping up charity work for photo ops. Though in Diana's case, the compassion or sincerity was there one can say. But she didn't pursue it further and was given more credit than her due, absorbed as she was in her various romantic dalliances and lonely life.
Both were no saints. The old one was evil in fact, rotten to the basest core. The young one was nice and kind but not that devoted to charity and everything was magnified. And for the young one's association and admiration of the old evil one, one can say she was a safe spectator towing in the line of public conformity too.

Religions are nothing more than cultural identifications or narcissistic exercises in vanity. Incidentally somewhere in write-ups about Obama's mother, it was noted that she somehow more less felt, that the strongest ones were made to bear the burden of racism, isms and prejudices of the world, in that case beautiful black people which fascinated her and her son Obama himself. The strongest and in a sense black people, are made to suffer to bear the brunt for only they can take so much pain, endure and strive to rise above it retaining pride in themselves. I guess, a great predeterminant of what we are in life, is determined by the PLACE of birth, who you are, parents, status, etc. so-called material designations, place you were born to etc., and I believe everything happens for a purpose. What is most loathesome? I will say first the bloodthirsty lust and bitterness of mob crab mentality, it is like mud they throw to cake on your face, harden and coat you with the paralyzing dirt of their evil desire to shred you and pull you down. And demure chinese girls/women in our city(their proverbial gender counterpart), cowardly spineless safe 'moderates' or wanna-be-WASPS(white anglo saxon american) tote dogs of breed to appear like a sweet demure coy dog lover or furry mixed breed dogs, status symbol, everything is all about status. Previously non-dog lovers who now handily tote over it like a baby in imitation of their favorite WASP celebrity which declared the trend to be the POLITICALLY correct thing to do now- SAFE and IN.
Because of the rise of the likes of these insecure young people in our city, there is the ugly mass commercialization of dog breeding in our small town and also even in the original White Anglo Saxon world. Unlike previous when truly dog fanciers bred beautiful dogs for their true love of the breed and to uphold the beauty of the standard or personal satisfaction, not insane frenetic massive mass-breeding for commercialization mass profit treating dogs like backyard sows and breeding cows. the results of these are bastardized mastiff like dogs and bulldog ban dogs with small snipey narrow heads being sold greedily on websites and some 'alleged' 'so-called scrupulous' breeders whose dogs look anything but scrupulous despite all their AKC championed titles and what you may have. Titles are titles but a labrador looking dog or shall I say dobey-looking dog WILL not be passed off as a molossian mastiff dog, to the discerning viewer. But of course to the STATUS hungry 20 something chinese women in our city who are salivating and crawling on all fours on bended knees for a PUG and so thrives the unscrupulous breeders who churn substandard dogs and thus goes the commercial-making monster machine.
But as the author of the mangosauce blog puts it with humans: to quote him "the thai man will take the white pig over a beautiful brown thai babe"
It is no different with dogs. People will take the snipey narrow small sharp headed dog of breed just so they can have a "PUG" or whatever dog of breed it is. Anytime, the ugly badly bred imported 'dog' over the BEAUTIFUL native dog, who looks finely and beautifully proportioned.
But of course hardly anyone sees this. There are beautiful and ugly native dogs just as there are in other breeds. The point is to see beauty as it is. The other day I was watching a feature on Discovery Channel about hardened criminals, serial killers of the worst kind. One was Jeffrey Daamer I do not recall his name entirely who was abandoned by both parents when he was 13 yrs old leaving him to live alone. He was afraid of abandonment and made his first killing when he was 13. A hitchhiker came to his house and drank with him and later on was about to leave, he tried to stop him but the man would not and this lead him to kill him. Daamer stopped killing but he spent years in alcoholic stupor and then later resumed a killing frenzy whenever anyone who came to his house was going to leave. He drilled holes in the skull of some and poured acid. Obviously depraved and evil but....there's more to the story than is told, more to explore of the life of Daamer and what led him to such.
And there was this 50ish something man who was into torturing women sexually before killing them, he had a trailer where he put paraphernalias of sexual torture. He seemed like a reticent soft-spoken man on the surface, further research into his life, family, society, growing up years would provide insight into what lead this man to what he came to be. Lastly, was a young man in his 20s-30s who was a child molester and murderer. He recalled his childhood saying his family was cold and sterile and nobody ever said to him " I love you" when he was a child. In school, he was a loner, taunted and teased by others. He became an exhibitionist when he was 13 yrs old, going naked at his windows and letting passersby see him. Later on he took to molesting children and hanging them. Belligerently, he said, if found guilty, he would try to escape jail, kill the jail warden and resume doing what he was doing before. He was hanged.
These men were cruel, evil, sadistic, but there was a wayward transparentness and unabashed frankness about their moral cretinness and lack of conscience. In other words, each owned up to his crimes with an imbecilic transparency. They were not certainly putting up a respectable front.
Evil and cruel without doubt, but this is not to negate that in some ways they ARE victims of society too. Loose misguided cannons on the warpath of destruction dragging everyone they meet down with their misdirected rage. Perhaps too sensitive and too weak to take on society's callous cold indifference, they took the deviant path of destruction.
Like the 9/11 hijackers and the infamy against Muslims. It is simplistic to label these people as purely EVIL. This is not to negate the pain of those who lost their loved ones who are truly rightful in their hatred against this unwarranted crime against them.

But the thing is, such people nobody can pin a damn thing on them, washing their hands off cleanly. The criminals are the scapegoats manifesting the symptoms of a sick society and the true sickness and irredeemably sick being those who are the LIVING COLD INDIFFERENT EMOTIONALLY NUMB AN DEAD who mingle so casually with society in daily life, expert soul killers who cast their bile daily.
This is never to negate physical murders, but in somehow some way, the violence is a call for someone to stop them, to put their disturbed soul to ease.

Those too sensitive, too weak, some take the destructive path, and some the violent deadly path. Each a sympton of a diseased society.
Let us not assume patronizing airs and treat people who commit acts as pariahs. Black and white thinking. Most people like to take patronizing airs so they can FEEL BIG about themselves. And speciesm, if you practice so, remember to include all.
