Riverfront Cruises (Ft Lauderdale, Florida)
Not one to turn down a ride on a boat to see and watch the beaches of Fort Lauderdale roll by, I accepted a trip on one of the famous Fort Lauderdale Riverfront Cruises on a charter bus rental trip there last year. And this is what I can tell you – it’s not to be missed! In fact, it’s so fun and beautiful that I would not hesitate if I was presented with the opportunity again! We asked the Fort Lauderdale FL rental charter bus driver to take us to Las Olas Riverfront Marketplace first because that’s where the boat departs from. The rays of the Florida sun beats down on my back while we were waiting to board but it reminds me of the beauty of what mother nature has to offer me during that trip….AND shopping. :-) Continue reading "Riverfront Cruises (Ft Lauderdale, Florida)"
FDR MEMORIAL (WASHINGTON DC)
It was my first time Washington DC before and the FDR Memorial was my first stop, I would be impressed. In short, what I found in this Washington DC charter bus rental tourist destination is literally nothing to shout about. As one would have expected, it is dedicated to one of the best Presidents in the world (to me, that is!), Franklin D. Roosevelt. I have nothing against visiting places like this but too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.
Basics first…when they built this monument, it was probably never meant to be the kind of Washington DC charter bus rental tourist attraction that it is today. I can’t blame the foreigners for gawking and taking down notes because it’s really great to be able to learn about the life and times of one of the best leaders in the world. We took the charter bus there in hope of learning something new about the people and president when he was in office. The one thing I find is that the FDR Washington DC Memorial was that it didn’t only showcased FDR’s life and work but also the people who lived at that time. Now, THAT’s what I call a real monument. Wings Over Hartford West (Hartford Connecticut)
During one charter bus holiday trip, I got
hit by one of the biggest hunger pangs and food cravings that I can ever
remember having. I lamented to my friend while we were on a holiday trip
to Hartford Connecticut, "I would die for some chicken wings right
now" and she told me that I was in luck. She knows JUST THE PLACE to
bring the Hartford Connecticut rental charter bus to for the best wings
Connecticut has to offer. After sampling whatever it was that she recommended,
I dare say Wings over Hartford West is definitely the place for the best chicken wings
you can ever dream of. During the rental charter bus stop at this Hartford
restautaurant, not only did we eat the best but we were served by the best people
as well! I loved the way they sort of let their customers customize the way
they want their chicken wings. for instance, when I see the word 'spicy' on the
menu, I am thinking 'piping hot' not 'hardly there spiciness'. And when they
delivered the chicken wings to me, this Hartford CT rental charter bus diner
blew me over.
Quite honestly, I never knew
there were so many different ways you could make chicken wings and so many
different names you can give them too!

The Squeeze Inn (Sacramento California)
I’ll start with the worst thing about The
Squeeze Inn in Sacramento California….it’s really literally a big
squeeze in there! We got off the charter bus, tired out with hunger-pangs the
magnitude of a reasonable earthquake and were not turned on with the size of
the place. But the Sacramento
CA charter bus driver assured us
that it would be worth it. He looked at his watch and said, “Just the right
time”…which presumably was supposed to assure us that food would be on the
table within seconds. But it wasn’t….and yet, The Squeeze Inn in Sacramento California
remains to be one of the more popular eateries here.
Forget about the fact that you’re eating in
a diner the size of a medium-sized room, if you’re ever in Sacramento for a
charter bus holiday trip, you’ve just got to sample the ‘Squeeze Burger’ for
yourself. It’s one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had the pleasure of
eating! Seriously….diet be damned. Sure, parking is a huge problem there as
well but if like the rental charter bus driver said, you’d just have to make
time for it or plan ahead. So, it’s not the fast food kind of join….but more
like a place where you’d have to sit around enjoying the morning paper or a cup
of freshly brewed coffee while waiting for your burger to bake!

Strapless Wedding Gown For Your Manhattan NY Wedding
Whilst your wedding is an event that you
want to remember for the rest of your life, I am pretty sure you’re not talking
about doing of remembering it for all the wrong reasons. Taking a look at the
bridal fashion walks this season, I have a feeling that off-shoulders are big
these days. Wearing a strapless wedding gown is always great because it’s
always considered classy, regardless of the kind of wedding you’re having.
But this season, this year, it seems that
there is more to the mix instead of being given a whole host of strapless
wedding dresses, we have quite a number of stylish halters and spaghetti straps
as well. What I find totally grand is that there are many different types of
short and sassy wedding gowns in the market today to help the bride break out
of the princess-y mould that just about everyone seems to want to walk into. I
say do something different and put a little attitude into your stride with the
short gowns.

Courageous Sailing Center (Boston MA)
I never knew sailing could be quite so fun but out of the encouragement of my friends during a rental charter bus trip to Boston MA, I took the chance and decided to hop on board. The sailing center we went to is called Courageous Sailing Center which is located on the picturesque Charlestown Navy Yard. On top of learning how to sail during the rental charter bus trip in Boston MA, I had a splendid time watching families having their weekend fun and enjoy the amazing view of the Boston Harbor. Took lots of pictures too, of course. They have many different types of sailing lessons for people of different skill levels, so don’t worry about it if you’re a little nervous about taking on the lessons during your Boston MA rental charter bus trip. Buckingham Fountain (Chicago IL)
There were two sets of emotions floating in and out my head as I watched this beautiful fountain during one of my many rental charter bus trips to Chicago IL – romance and peace. It’s one of the biggest fountains in the world and it’s right here in the heart of Chicago and remains to be one of the most popular spots for local lovers and tourists by rental charter bus. I guess it’s hard to blame them as those graceful dancing horses are absolutely heart warming. In my personal opinion, it’s not just a place for locals to relax and unwind; it’s also a public piece of art. Kate Buckingham, accordingly, envisioned the special effects she calls ‘soft moonlight’ – and boy, did she hit the nail on the head. It’s simply magnificent. Varsity Downtown (Atlanta Georgia)
For those who want their food really fast should head over to Varsity in Atlanta Georgia! Or if you have a rented charter bus holiday in Varsity and the kids are screaming their heads off in hunger, this is where you should bring the charter bus round to too. But if you’re looking for healthy fine dining, this is not the place for you. There’s this one time, I rented a charter bus in Atlanta Georgia with a bunch of crazy school friends and we didn’t have the time to eat a proper meal the whole day, by 4pm, we were starving. I could’ve eaten a nuclear plant. But that was not I ate. The rented charter bus driver took us to Varsity Downtown and I absolutely fell in love with the place. Continue reading "Varsity Downtown (Atlanta Georgia)"
Titanic, Ship of Dreams Exhibit (Orlando Florida)
I hate things cheesy….and I am not talking about food either. But Titanic, Ship of Dreams Exhibit in Orlando Florida is still a worthwhile attraction despite its very obvious link to the movie instead of the real life and times of the Titanic….the one that sank. It would have been a much better Orlando FL charter bus experience if the exhibit dedicate the exhibit to the actual ship instead of the one featuring Leonardo. But that’s OK, I guess. It was still an amazing rental charter bus stop in Orlando FL for us. This Orlando FL rental charter bus attraction is at International Drive’s Mercado shopping center and if you’re ever in Orlando FL for a trip, be sure to bring the kids around to it – they’ll be enthralled by it all! Hugh Taylor Birch State Park (fort lauderdale FL)
Fort Lauderdale FL, although isn’t as packed tight as New York or Miami but it’s a growing city with a growing number of people renting charter buses for holidays. If you’re looking for a respite in this tourist attraction, you can always head on over to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park which is one of the most tranquil places in Fort Lauderdale FL. Located off the East, this amazingly beautiful one-hundred-and-eighty acre park is nestled in between the vast Atlantic Ocean and Inland Waterway. You would have to rent a Fort Lauderdale FL charter bus for a trip here to appreciate the sheer exquisiteness of this place. But what is more…..it’s a place where people go to for all kinds of water-related activities, which includes swimming, surfing and fishing. Continue reading "Hugh Taylor Birch State Park (fort lauderdale FL)"
Jungle Queen Riverboat (Fort Lauderdale FL)
You don’t go on Jungle Queen Riverboat in Fort Lauderdale FL to experience Las Vegas entertainment, let me tell you that right off! But it was one of the most fun things I did with my friends during a Fort Lauderdale FL rental charter bus trip there. We rented the bus without knowing what we wanted to do for the day; the charter bus driver was nice enough to suggest many Fort Lauderdale FL tourist attractions to us and Jungle Queen Riverboat was one of them. Despite the dilapidated condition of the riverboat, the experience was really fun. I read somewhere that this Fort Lauderdale FL rental charter bus attraction has been around for, like….forever. 50 years, they said. On board, what you’re bargaining for is decent food but excellent entertainment and view. There’s nothing like dining on board a riverboat like that to test your stomach muscles! Embassy Inn (Washington DC)
Won’t you agree with me that when it comes to traveling, one of the biggest budget concerns is the place you stay in? if you have somewhere to stay in during your Washington DC rental charter bus holiday there, you’re one lucky chum! When I rented a Washington DC charter bus for a holiday there, I tried out the Embassy Inn downtown and it was a really great experience. It’s nothing to shout about in terms of amenities but after their renovation in ’87, I’d say the 38-room historical inn is one smashing place to stay in. according to the lady manning the counter, the Embassy Inn has been serving charter bus tourists ever since 1910 and many of them were like me, enchanted with the traditional style of décor and furniture setting! Harriet Beecher Stowe House (Hartford Connecticut)
I grew up with books and one of my favorite books of all time is Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Hence, when I got the chance to rent a charter bus to Hartford Connecticut for a quick weekend visit, I made sure I scheduled in some time to visit the Harriet Beecher Stowe’s House. Although it’s not the kind of place where you can find tourists pouring out of rented Harford CT charter buses, it’s worth a visit if you love her books and her personality….it’s enchanting, I promise you. As I stepped inside the house during my Hartford rental charter bus visit, I felt like I was sucked into a surreal world of the past. Apparently, in 1873 Harriet Beecher Stowe bought this modest little cottage, she spent a lot of time working on her books and gardens. She loved Victorian stuff, and this is an apparent fact when you visit this Hartford CT tourist attraction. The author stayed there with her twin daughters till her death, so it’s a really significant place in Hartford for me. Continue reading "Harriet Beecher Stowe House (Hartford Connecticut)"
Old Sacramento (Sacramento California)
I had so much fun at Old Sacramento that I actually rented a room nearby one of the hotels during one rental charter bus holiday trip to Sacramento CA just so I can go back. You know, the city is so much less fun after a visit to a place like Old Sacramento – no, seriously, I mean it. it’s all dirt and cobblestone and takes you way back by decades. There’s something to be said about all those out-of-style buildings and historical places that even an adult like me find to be fun. I fancied one of those rides around Old Sacramento via a horse-drawn carriage – so, during that charter bus trip, I told the bus driver to go get himself a beer and I took a carriage ride! Amazing experience, I’m telling you and if you’ve not done this before, you don’t know what you’re missing. Some tourists who thronged to this place in their rented charter buses opted for the riverboat ride tour instead.
