My time in Bolivia has quickly come to an end. For the past week after arriving back from Paraguay Iâ??ve been slowly saying my goodbyes to the kids Iâ??ve been working with at the orphanage and also the friends Iâ??ve made during my time in Santa Cruz.

Since my last blog entry i've slept on an island in Lake Titicaca with no electricity for a night, explored the streets of the world's highest capital city and been grateful to still be alive on many occassions due to the sketchy South American bus system.

My initial response to hearing that we’d be hiking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu through heavy rain, mud and all the way up to 4200 meters altitiude was let’s do it! 

Four days later my calves and thighs would tell a different story...
