I'm pregnant (just going into 2nd trimester), but don't have a doctor yet. I'm wondering if I can take Daytime Nyquil for sniffles, runny nose, headache, and just general cold?

Abdominal discomfort
Dear MD,
My 10 year old daughter (95 lbs)has complained of abdominal pain since a male associate lifted her with one hand on her abdomin in a military type shoulder press over his head using her as a human dumbell. What type of harm could this manuver cause?
I was not present at the time but did question him. He said she was safe and not harmed. Should I be a concerned about the social implications and lack of judgement on his part to put him self in this type of situation with someone else's daughter?

military related health issues?
While in the military in the late 60's, two different things happened that MAY have affected my long term health:
prolonged exposure to coal dust, and coal fumes in a barracks for three months. I went to sick call a few times and was told that I had "Fort Lewis Crud". No treatment, and told to get back to training. Very weak, continually coughing, and coughing up and blowing black snot.
While stationed in Belgium, after NATO had been expelled from France. We were re-building capacity, and had to make do with a lot of different functions. Our veterinary clinic had acquired a field x-ray unit, and a little lead sheeting, which we put on the walls, but had no aprons, etc. for personal protection. I performed anywhere from 1-5 x-rays per day, during the week, for just short of two years.
Any possible current health situtations from either of the above circumstances?

i have an 82 year old mother and lately her legs and feet swell and she actually is dreing water from her legs, what would cause this and what can we do for it. she is a diabetic but her sugar at night goes really low so she stopped taking her insulin

I am 38 weeks pregnant and have felt like I have the flu for a few days know. Today as I was sitting at work, I felt a warm sensation in my vaginal area. When I went to the bathroom, there was some wetness in my underware. It seemed clear but when I wiped there was a lot of discharge but with a slight yellow tinge. I am wonderign if my water could be seeping. What should I do?

side effects of depo medrol for alergies
Three months ago i recieved a depo medrol shot for alergies. Two days later while working out with my arms, both of them locked up and I became faint. From then on I have had muscle cramping, fatigue and muscle twitching mostly in the triceps and a little in the legs. My doctor said that this could be side effects of the shot. My legs have not been effect near as much. Could me working out and by my muscles being damaged by intense workouts cause them to soak up the shot and be effected even more. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks so much

I have an allergy to dust. My doctor gave me Nasonex. I am taking it for 6 days and since yesterday I notice I have a green discharge on one side and the same side is stuffy. I do not feel sick . Could I have a sinus infection or could this be from the Nasonex?

My husband had a vasectomy in April and I have been on paxil since March. Yesterday I started getting lightheaded moments, and I have moderate menstral cramps. Could I be pregnant? I had cramps in the beginning of my two previous pregnancies that went full term. Also I got gestational diabetes with my second pregnacy. Could I get it again?
my daughter
i am asking about my daughter who is 19 years old. she has been seen by several doctors who cannot seem to give her a reason for her symtoms. she is really depressed about her situation and is worried. she has severe headaches, dizziness, hot/cold sweats, coughing up dime sized blood clots(she does not smoke), her chest feels tight, she feels like there is a lump in her throat, and she just started to get nose bleeds, and also she has explained that there is a numbness on her leftside of her body, and loss of appetite, she has been steadily losing weight, and shortness of breath, and abdominal pain. this is really frustrating and im worried, i know that is alot of symptoms, but no one has an answer and her quality of life is becoming distressed, and i should say she is not on any drugs of any kind, prescription or otherwise. i hope you can help, we are desperate
denture options
My past caught up with me a few years ago and most of my teeth were, of necessity, extracted. I've been wearing partials ever since. I find them uncomfortable (perhaps because the dental assistants were hired for their willingness to work for next to nothing, or because the type of partials available through this dental clinic, were selected to maximize profits)and poorly designed. I'm looking for alternatives, preferably inexpensive alterantives.
I would like to learn all my available options including better designed partials, bridges, full dentures, implants, mini implants and recent innovations, including relative current costs.
Muscular movement in calves when sitting
I am in need of advice from a MD that specializes in muscular or neurology. My husband has motion in his calf muscles . It appears while sitting that he is having a spasm but it does not hurt him. He has had 2 shots in his back for disk pain over the last 6 months but now he still has problems with his calves hurting or just them twitching but not hurting. Do you know any specialists in the Phila. area that might be able to help. He is seeing a doctor at the Rothman Institue for his back pain but this seemd to be nerve or muscular
Methanabol
I am currently taking Methanabol 10mg twice daily. I have been taking this for six weeks. I am very concerned with the effects this might have, especially on my liver and kidneys. I would appreciate any information on the side effects and damage this could cause and what if anything I could take to help protect my liver and kidneys.
mouth sores
I have had a sore in both corners of my mouth for about 2 mos. now and tried large amounts of Vitamin B as I heard that was a reason for the sores, but it did not help. I hope you can help me, it is very sore and unsightly. They are more on the outside. If I don't get a satisfactory answer will it still cost me $20.00?

both arms get very heavy and hurt and the back of my neck hurts. If I sit down and relax and rub the back of my neck it sensation passes within a few minutes. What might be going on?
