A Kenny Chesney Video I Love…

Now here’s a kenney chesney video I could watch over and over again. This is probably my favorite one of all of his…

kenny chesney concert

I’ve kind of “lacked” in posting to this blog, but I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t been able to do anything I actually “like” to do… :(

Today we’re headed to the Kenny Chesney concert in Nashville. My husband and I and two or our girls are going with us and we are all super excited!! :)

I’ve got more plans for the blog. I want to add some other features besides me just posting about kenny chesney songs and lyrics. This blog was meant to be a place where I could detail my feelings related to kenny’s songs, but it’s grown and so many peolpe are posting comments, that I would love to make this site for all kenny chesney fans!

So, let me know what you would like to see me add to the site… All you have to do is post a comment below…

I’ll update everyone on the concert later this week…

found a kenny chesney forum

well, i knew when i started this site i’d find some great kenny fans when doing it.

tonight i found a great kenny chesney forum. whoo hoo… i’ve been looking around reading the posts, and it seems like a great crew of people… loyal kenny fans.

you can check it out by going to KennyForums.org

i’ll be a very active member in this community i can see now.

good fan sites are hard to come by, and i’m glad i found this one!

today in “kenny news” i found something that is uplifting lately we’ve been hearing so many nasty rumors, and the heart breaking story of rene zellweger leaving kenny chesney that it’s nice to get some good news…

Nov. 7, 2005— Kenny Chesney says he is doing “good,” months after the breakup of his four-month marriage to Renee Zellweger.

“It’s (my heart is) good,” Chesney told “Good Morning America” today in his first TV appearance since his much publicized breakup with the star of “Chicago” and “Bridget Jones’ Diary.” “It’s up and down, but it’s good.”

they’ve got a too hot kenny picture there also so be sure to take a look… ;)

till next time…

kenny chesney lyrics… who you’d be today

while sitting around working today i was listening to the new kenny chesney cd… the road and the radio his new song who you’d be today really hit me. yes, the video is incredibly sad, and the song is about those who have passed on…

here’s the kenny chesney lyrics

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
See your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can’t believe your gone

(Chorus:)
It ain’t fair you died to young
Like a story that had just begun
But death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the hell that I’ve been through
Just knowing, no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder, who you’d be today

Would you see the world
Would you chase your dreams
Settle down with a family
I wonder what would you name your babies
Someday’s the sky’s so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

(Chorus)

Today[6x]

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know, I’ll see you again someday

Someday, someday

what hit me though is this song also relates to those of us who have had people pass through our lives that are still in this world. a death of a relationship with a guy/girl… a death of a friendship…

i’ve never had to go through the loss of someone close to me thank God, but i have had many people pass through my life that this song really relates to.

the death of a 17 year friendship being one of them. my best friend is still here, but our relationship isn’t, and hasn’t been for a long time. i sometimes think that’s even more painful than actually loosing them to death. knowing you can still touch them, but you can’t.

kenny has once again created a song so close to my life, that sometimes i think he is writing them as i am living them…

kenny chesney bio…

well, i thought i knew it all about kenny…. seems there are a many kenny chesney bio around. ;) here are just a few i found tonight while looking around online. it’s funny how so many differ…

Kenny Chesney (born March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is a popular country music singer and songwriter, known for such works as No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems and When the Sun Goes Down. Chesney is known for his laid back style of country music.

His first major hit was “Fall in Love,” which reached the Country Top 10 in 1995. The follow-up, “All I Need to Know,” also reached the Top 10, but follow-ups were not so successfull.

However, in 1996, he scored the top 5 hit, “Me and You,” and returned again with “When I Close My Eyes” in early 1997. He hit No. 1 for the first time with “She’s Got It All” in August 1997; the song spent three weeks atop Billboard magazine’s country singles chart.

Other No. 1 hits included “How Forever Feels” (No. 1 for six weeks in 1999); “The Good Stuff” (No. 1 in 2002); “There Goes My Life” (No. 1 in early 2004); and “When the Sun Goes Down” (a duet with Uncle Kracker in 2004). Notable No. 2s include “That’s Why I’m Here” (1998), “Young” (2002), “Big Star” (2003), “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” (2003) and “The Woman With You” (2004).

While some of Chesney’s music shows the obvious influence of John Mellencamp and Jimmy Buffett (a point critics are quick to note), he often performs several traditional country songs at his shows (particularly, music from George Jones). He won the Country Music Association’s Entertainer of the Year honor in 2004.

In January 2005, Chesney released the album “Be As You Are: Songs from an Old Blue Chair,” supporting the album with his “Somewhere Under the Sun” tour.

On May 9, 2005, Chesney married Renée Zellweger on the resort island St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The pair met in January 2005 at a tsunami relief benefit. Chesney had previously commented that Zellweger was his favorite actress, and he had written a song, “You Had Me from Hello”, based on her line from Jerry Maguire. On September 15, 2005, after only four months of marriage, they announced their plans for an annulment. Zellweger cited “fraud” as the reason in the related legal papers. [1] Fueled by numerous internet reports, some have speculated that Zellweger discovered Chesney was actually homosexual. Chesney has neither confirmed nor denied these reports.

okay, now kenny chesney gay? are you kidding me? well, kenny, if you are then i still love the music. if not you’re keeping naughty dreams of millions of women alive.. ;)

on that note…. here is a little something for those of you who think kenny chesney is gay… http://www.wftv.com/entertainment/5297938/detail.htm

Heres another I found…

KENNY CHESNEY • Country Singer / Songwriter

After a decade of building an audience with country hits such as “You Had Me From Hello” and “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” Kenny Chesney broke through in 2002 with the Nashville-to-Caribbean sound of his album No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem. Chesney grew up in Luttrell, Tennessee and in the early 1990s made his way to Nashville, where he found work as a songwriter-for-hire. He released his first major-label album, All I Need to Know, in 1995 and had steady success with the followups Me and You (1996), I Will Stand (1997) and Everywhere We Go (1999). His No Shoes album soared to the top of the charts on the strength of the title track and the hit songs “The Good Stuff” and “Young,” and soon enough Chesney was a star on Country Music Television as well as radio. In 2004 he released When The Sun Goes Down and had another hit with “There Goes My Life.”

Extra credit: In 2000 Chesney made headlines—and got a shot of free publicity—when he grabbed a policeman’s horse at a New York fair and rode off, a prank which was amplified in the press due to the involvement of country star Tim McGraw. Chesney said he had the policeman’s permission and was later acquitted of disorderly conduct…

pretty funny how there is so much information readily available about stars… all i can say is “thank you” and better you than me.. ;)

kenny chesney made me cry :(

kenny’s videos have always struck a nerve with me. be it because it hit an emotional nerve with me, or just a “hottie attack” ;)

however, his newest single “who you’d be today” off his new cd “the road and the radio” is a real tear jerker. this has to be the best kenny chesney video ever. kenny chesney lyrics already… :)

yes, some have already commented on the template i chose for this blog. ;) kenny chesney fans will know why i chose it. for those of you who aren’t kenny chesney fans, i did it because of a song on his last alblum “be as you are”

here’s the song….

kenny chesney lyrics

“Key Lime Pie”

Big straw hat, banana drink
I can’t remember what it is I think
And my, my, my – my key lime pie

Ocean breeze, tire swing
Coconut fall if you shake that thing
And my, my, my – my key lime pie

Not too tart, not too sweet
My baby loves to watch me eat
Her key lime pie
Her key lime pie

Tall green tree, yellow bird
Bikini bottom and a tie-dyed shirt
And my, my, my – my key lime pie

Big white sail, red sunset
Lobster tail and don’t forget
My, my, my – my key lime pie

A six string, ten shots
Of Cruzan rum, hey, I like it a lot
With my, my, my – my key lime pie

Tortola, a full moon
Shining down on a blue lagoon
And my, my, my – my key lime pie

Not too tart, not too sweet
My baby loves to watch me eat
Her key lime pie
Her key lime pie

We got Ginger and Mary Ann
Cookin’ up a real good tan
And my, my, my – my key lime pie

Key lime pie, key lime pie
Key lime pie, my my my
My, my, my key lime pie
Key lime pie, key lime pie
My, my, my key lime pie

why kenny chesney?

for a long time i have wanted to start a site about kenny chesney. my business keeps me extremely busy and i’ve just never found the time. now with blogging, it’s quick and easy so i decided to start a kenny chesney blog.

so why site and type about kenny chesney?

i’m not sure…

i’ve listened to his music since i was 17. at the time i was dating a guy in the air force and he turned me on to him. 9 years later i’m still buying his cd’s, watching him on tv, and forever trying to get a kenny chesney concert ticket. :)

basically on this blog, i’ll be talking about things that i see kenny chesney involved in, cool things about him, what his music means to me, and i’m sure a whole lot of other things.

i’m a die hard fan, and this is just the first of many posts about me and kenny chesney. :)

till next time…
