I have a Maryland drivers license. I was caught speeding 11 MPH over the speed limit in Washington D.C. by a speed camera. The actual ticket only has a picture of my car, not of the driver (me). I will pay the fine to DC, but will this offense add points to my Maryland drivers record and/or be reported to my insurance company or put on my record? How would they know I was driving my car at the time?
From the information we received from the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) the DC speed camera conviction would go on your MD driving record but not be assigned points or affect your insurance rates . Maryland and the District of Columbia (DC) are both members of ...

It is in case I am involved in an accident while using the vehicle on personal use after hours of work. He already has insurance on the truck itself but I need one to cover me. Thanks.
