Adobe announced on Thursday the launching of a less complex, free online version of its image-editing software. Called Adobe Photoshop Express, the new service aims to attract new, mainstream users, who will be able to upload, store and edit their digital photographs through a browser, not needing to download any software on their computer. After registering for an account, users get 2GB of free storage space.
The users will have easy access to simple features such as removing blemishes, cropping or resizing a photo, removing red-eye effect, or turn average photos into jaw droppers with options like Pop Color, Sketch, Hue, Black & White, Tint, and more. Another feature that may make the service popular is the link with social networking sites, such as Facebook or Photobucket.

Apple releases Safari 3.1
Apple on Tuesday released a new version of its Safari Web browser for Mac and Windows operating systems. Web developers will certainly appreciate some of Safari’s new features. Safari 3.1 adds support for the new video and audio tags in HTML 5 and now supports CSS Animations. Apple says Safari is the first browser to support these features.
