iRiver P10 Previewed
Though iRiver P10 was introduced during the CES 2008 this January, it seems that not ready to be launched yet. However, one of the reader of China-based iMP3 manage to get one sample to play with it. This is an engineering sample with the buggy firmware version 0.9.
Generally, the reporter quite satisfy with it, especially on its big 4″ display! One thing to be dissapointed is its battery life. During the testing, it could only plays video up to 4 hours continuosly.
Still, no idea on when will it be available!

Philips GoGear SA28 for $57

Philips GoGear SA28 is the first MP3 player that features its own Fullsound technology. The SA28 was first introduced during the CES2008, and now, it is available at China mainland. The 2GB SA28 is sale for RMB399 (approx US$57) with built-in FM tuner.
Fullsound is a digital audio algorithm patented by Philips that refines audio output by performing 10 million operations per second to analyze and re-compute the music signal before it is sent to the speaker. This means that FullSound brings out the best of any audio system and delivers more life to the music.

iRiver Mplayer Season 2

iRiver Japan has introduced the company new line-up, Mplayer Season 2. The new Mickey Mouse features 1GB of memory and comes with 10 new colors. It will be available from 11th April 2008 and suggested price is 7980 Yen (approx US$79).

Teclast X11 2GB for $28

Teclast recently introduced its new X11, which targets on low-end market. This is a very basic MP3 player, without any fancy features. It is powered by Rockchip RK2601A solution and features a 1.1″ OLED display. For just RMB199 (approx US$28), you can get a 2GB Teclast X11 with lossless audio supported.

MPIO Is Back with V10

The Korean MPIO was quiet for sometimes in the industry. Now, the company is back with the new MPIO V10. It is the PMP powered by OMAP 2 processor and run on Windows CE 5.0 as it’s core system. It uses 4GB/8GB Solid State Drive as its storage media, and SD card extension.
It features a 3″ TFT LCD touch screen @ 480 x 272 pixel resolution. Beside audio and video playback, the V10 also comes with TV-Out support, built-in FM tuner, and etc. The battery life is about 5 hours for video playback.
The new MPIO V10 is now available in its official website at the price of 228k Won (approx US$230) for 4GB version and 268k Won (approx US$270) for 8GB version.

Teclast M26 Unveiled

Teclast will soon introduce their new M26, which features TV out. The new Teclast M26 features 2.6″ WQVGA multi-touch display. It supports RMVB, RM, FLV, AVI video playback. Not just MP3, WMA playback, it also supports lossless audio playback with Microsoft PlayFX compatibility.

Sandisk Sansa Fuze Now at Amazon

The new Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4GB
is now available at Amazon for the price $100. It is Sandisk’s weapon to rival Apple’s iPod Nano. It will be shipped within 1 - 3 months.

OPPO S11 Get Wiied?

China-based OPPO has recently introduce the new OPPO S11, the latest product of their Smart MP4 series. The new S11 features a large 3.0″ 16:9 LCD display. This is a touch screen with resolution @ 480 x 272 pixels.
The new OPPO S11 is probably the first MP3 player to get Wiied. The company has introduce the new 3D Intelligence Control system, where the user may control by just swing it. This function is useful when the user changes track, browses images and of course plays the games.

iRiver E100 to Play FLAC

The Chinese iRiver’s fan site, iRiverfans, reported that the new iRiver E100 will be available soon. It is expected to be launched on mid of this March in Korea. There are some changes of this new E100 since the CES 2008. This is the first time iRiver brings FLAC lossless audio to its product. Besides, the new E100 also supports Xvid video and PNG image.
