LAST year's Eurovision hopeful Jade Ewen is to help judge acts vying to sing for the UK in 2010.
Four solo singers, one all-girl trio and a five-piece group will perform live for the chance to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo, Norway, this May.
UK Eurovision contenders revealed The BBC has revealed the six acts who will face the public vote in a bid to become this year's UK Eurovision entry.
The Eurovision hopefuls, including four solo acts and two groups, will perform live in front of a panel of judges in Your Country Needs You! on 12 March.
Hitmaker Pete Waterman, who is writing and producing this year's Eurovision entry, will lead the panel of judges.
"We've got the song and we've got six acts - now all we're waiting for is the public," said Waterman.
Waterman will work on the UK entry with fellow music producer Mike Stock, who together formed part of the highly-successful 80s recording trio Stock Aitken Waterman, which launched the career of Kylie Minogue, among others.
"If any man can second guess European musical tastes surely that man is Pete Waterman," said Eurovision host Graham Norton, who will present next week's deciding show.
Can they impress a specially selected panel - including Pete Waterman, last year's UK entrant Jade Ewen and performance-judge supremo Bruno Tonoli. More importantly, will they win your vote?
I can tell you what happened in Italy at the Festival of San Remo, the Italian most important music TV show: there were about 20 songs competing for victory but raised the top two boys who participated in two major Italian talent show "X-Factor " and "Amici" (friends). They have beaten very famous singers in Italy.
I want to say thatt I greatly appreciated Sonia and I think she's a very good singer. But I think England needs new faces.
I think it's really difficoult to write songs so exciting.
As Alexander said in an interview, it took 5, 6 months to prepare a 3 minute presentation for the Eurovision Song Contest. I greatly appreciated the Scooch, but the song "Flying the flag" is definitely lower than that of Alexander and they reached the 22nd position in 2007. We are no longer in the era of the 80s, people want a more complicated mix of incredients to send a song on stage winner.
Alexander came from norwegian Idol Tv Show.
